Dear Karen, MCI is being replaced by NMC. However this will take upto 6 months based on the information released by the Health Ministry. There was also news that AIIMS and JIPMER admissions also will be conducred through NEET as a part of NMC Bill. Considering this is August, and 6 months from now is Feb/March 2020,it is unlikely that there any changes that will be affecting AIIMS 2020 and JIPMER 2020. Hey Karen !
As of now, there has been no official notice from the Centre about the abolishment of AIIMS UG Exam although it has been proposed in the NMC Bill. But we must take it into consideration that the central committee of NMC would take a minimum of 6 months to form which might be in action from Feb/March and till then the exams would be conducted as it has been happening till now.
Further, AIIMS 2020 notification is already out about the tentative dates of application form, admit card, exam and result. It seems improbable to banish AIIMS 2020.
