Course Overview

The General management programme for IT Professionals is offered by IIM Lucknow intends to bring about an amalgamation of management and IT skills among the professionals working in the IT industry. The course focuses on recasting the career growth algorithm of the participant by programming and inculcating management skills and practices for better and faster career development. It leads to knowledge updation and skills up-gradation which can give rise to a successful business leader who can envision future growth prospects in the organisation. 

Teaching pedagogy of the curse includes live examples from corporates, discussion forums, and case studies. Also, the industry experts are invited to share their experiences to provide industry insights to a greater extent. The programme will deliver simultaneous learning via the interactive learning platform. There will be streaming of live classes online which can be accessed through smartphones, desktops or laptops. The participant will be required to make two campus visits to IIM Lucknow campus, one for 3 days and another one for one day during the middle and end of the course respectively.

The fee details of IIM Lucknow General Management Programme For IT Professionals details are given below:

  • The course fees are Rs 2,30,000 + 18 % GST (Excluding Alumni fees and registration fees).
  • The processing fee charges are Rs. 10,000 + 18 % GST. The processing fee contains Rs. 7,000 as registration fees and Rs. 3,000 as programme fees which will be pro-rated in 1st instalment. 
  • The course fee can be paid in 3 instalments of Rs. 80,000 each. (Exception: first instalment which will be Rs. 77,000.
  • The fees for IIM MDP Alumni which are optional are Rs. 10,000 + 18 %  GST

Eligibility Criteria

Work Experience/Education:

  • The Entrant should have completed graduation in Electronics/IT/CS along with work experience of 3 years in the relevant field.
  • For the graduates from other disciplines apart from CS/IT/Electronics, the relevant work experience of 3 years is required.
  • Candidates who have pursued 3 years full-time diploma degree (10 + 2 + 3) from a recognised institute along with 5 years of relevant work experience are also eligible to apply for the program.

Certification Qualifying Details:

  • The participant is awarded ‘Certificate of Successful Completion’ from IIM Lucknow if s/he clears the comprehensive evaluation and meets attendance criteria. The certificate will be signed by the programme director and chairman-MDP of Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Lucknow.

Admission to IIM Lucknow General Management Programme for IT Professionals is quite easy. 

The entrants are required to follow the steps given below to get enrolled-

Step 1: Visit the webpage of the course.

Step 2:  A window towards the right side will ask for details like Name, Last name, phone number, email id, experience, Company, and designation. Tick the checkbox to accept terms and conditions and click on ‘Apply now.

Step 3: You will be directed to the Times Pro site to start the Application. Enter the details asked and OTP to validate the application.

Step 4: After validation, you will be asked to pay the fees. 

Step 5: You can submit an online application form by paying processing charges Rs. 11,800 + GST.

The processing charges will be refunded in case the application is rejected.
