Python for Data Science certification programme is free to enroll and does not charge for the course material either. You simply have to pay for the certification exam if you want the e-verified certificate.

Eligibility Criteria

To enrol in the Python for Data Science certification by Swayam, you must have a basic knowledge of data science algorithms.

Furthermore, to qualify for the Python for Data Science certificate, you require an average assignment score of 10/25 or more as it constitutes 25% of the final score. Students should have a minimum of 10/25 in the unproctored exam and a minimum exam score of more than 20 out of 50. The final score is the sum of the average assignment score, exam score, and unproctored exam score.

Lastly, the final score must be more than 40/100. Failure to fulfill any of the three conditions will mean you will not get the certificate.

Admission Details

Step-II: Choose the Sign-in/Register icon at the top corner of the page.

Step-III: Fill in the details and log in using your Swayam account or your Facebook/Google/Microsoft social IDs. You can also sign up for a new Swayam account.

Step-IV: Enter a suitable username, a valid password, and your email address to create the account.

Application Details

Join the Python for Data Science online programme by logging in to your existing Swayam account or create a new learning account. Provide your email address, and choose a username and password to create an account. Swayam will verify your email address by sending a verification code.

You can also log in using your existing social IDs for websites like Facebook/Microsoft and Google.

The proctored examination is held after the course is completed. It is a written exam that is held in person in multiple exam centres. To register, you must fill an online registration form and pay the exam fee. The Python for Data Science certification exam will be conducted in two different time slots on a date prescribed online. More details will be provided once the exam form is released.
