NMIMS offer scholarship to meritorious students who are in need of financial assistance and, who have excelled in their 12th examination board or equivalent degree with at least 80 percent of marks is awarded the central sector scheme of scholarship for college and university students. In this scholarship, the awardees receive monthly financial assistance of 1,000 INR for students enrolled in undergraduate courses and 2,000 INR for students enrolled in professional courses.
The duration of receiving the scholarship is for 10 months in an academic year, totaling 3 years for undergraduate courses and 5 years for professional courses. The eligibility criteria for the scholarship are as follows.
Students being awarded the scholarship must belong from an economically weaker section of the society, with a family annual income of less than 6 lakh per annum.
The student who is awarded the scholarship must have achieved at least 80 percent of marks in the 12th class board or equivalent degree.
