College of Engineering and Technology Bhubaneswar is an autonomous public college established by Government of Odisha in 1981. The institute was a constituent college of the Odisha University of Agriculture & Technology, Bhubaneswar since establishment. After creation of a Technical University for Odisha State, the College of Engineering and Technology Bhubaneswar has become a constituent college of Biju Patnaik University of Technology, Odisha. It is also known as CET Bhubaneswar. The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) has accredited the institute with an ‘A’ grade. Four B.Tech programmes - Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Instrumentation & Electronics Engineering are accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA).

The college campus covers an area of 100 acres and it has a total of 96 faculty members. As per the official website, mission of CET Bhubaneswar is to  generate on a sustainable basis quality technical human resources commensurate with the dynamic global scenario. The college offers UG, PG and doctoral programmes. B.Tech, B.Arch, B.Plan, M.Tech., M.C.A., M.Sc., Ph.D etc. are a few of the courses offered by CET Bhubaneswar. Candidates' scores in JEE Main and OJEE PG are accepted for admission to UG and PG courses respectively. The training and placement cell of the institute provides training and placement opportunities to the students. CET Bhubaneswar has a large number of facilities and modern infrastructure at the campus for students and faculty members.

The 100 acres campus of the college has a variety of facilities for students. CET Bhubaneswar facilities allow students to spend a comfortable time at the campus. Candidates can apply for admission to UG, PG and doctoral programmes. CET Bhubaneswar admissions are offered to a total of 41 courses. The institute considers aspiring students' performance in JEE Main for admission to B.Tech, B.Arch, B.Plan and M.Sc. Integrated courses. CET Bhubaneswar Scholarships

The students can apply for Merit Based Scholarship offered by the college. College of Engineering and Technology Bhubaneswar scholarship i.e. Merit Based Scholarship is offered to students based on their academic performance. For 1 st year students marks obtained in JEE Main/OJEE are considered. On the other hand, students in 2nd year or beyond need to maintain 8.0 CPGA to apply for CET Bhubaneswar. The eligible students are offered a scholarship amount of Rs. 400 per month. 

College of Engineering and Technology Bhubaneswar Cut off

The college considers JEE Main scores for admission to B.Tech, B.Arch, B.Plan and M.Sc. Integrated programmes. CET Bhubaneswar cutoff is the closing ranks of JEE Main. As per the admission criteria of the institute, only candidates who meet College of Engineering and Technology Bhubaneswar cut off are eligible for admission to undergraduate courses. The institute cutoff is released by the Odisha Joint Entrance Examinations Board on its official website.
