Yes, you can appear for JEE mains because the eligibility criteria for JEE mains also includes that the candidate has to score a minimum of 75% in his/her 12th, and for SC/ST/PwD criteria the aggregate marks are a minimum of 65% to get a seat in NIT/IIIT/GFITs. Hence after you qualify 12th and rejoined again to increase the percentage to apply for jee mains, can apply for jee mains 2021 too.

Hello student yes you can appear in IIT Jee entrance examination as an appearing student but you've to make sure your final results released before the admission process.
Eligibility - Candidates must passed or appearing class 12 in Physics chemistry and Mathematics with minimum 75 percent marks aggregate from a recognized board.
