ITP which was introduced in 2016 in in VIT is a program which enables the student to study abroad in a college which is a partner of VIT.

Now , it is of two types:-

1. Do first two years of BTech in VIT then complete 2 years of BTech abroad in the partner college of it and get the degree from that college only.

OR

2. Study all four years of BTech in VIT and then pursue higher education abroad with the help of VIT college.

I think if one is determined to study abroad , then option one is more beneficial.

Your cost of studying abroad will be cut short by 45%. You will gain a lot of exposure through foreign industries.

Admission procedure will be streamlined with the procedure of VIT.

To conclude with , option 1 will save your time as well as money and you will learn a lot from this whole experience.
