Hello!!
Yes, there was a JEE quota and to get admission in COEP your Jee mains percentile had to be very good,minimum is 90+ percentile was required.BUT, After implementation of MHTCET total number of seats in COEP are reserved MHTCET. So, the only way to get into COEP is attending MHTCET examination. I can provide you the link of other top colleges names that accepts Jee score just go through it :
