With 56% in Class 12, you may be eligible for admission to some IIITs and top engineering colleges based on entrance exams like JEE Main or state-level exams. Colleges such as IIITs, NITs, and other private institutions may consider your score for eligibility. Check their specific criteria.

Hello,

Eligibility for IIITs:

General Criteria for IIITs:

Admission to IIITs is primarily based on your JEE Main rank.

There is usually no strict minimum Class 12 percentage requirement for general JEE-based admissions, but you must have passed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

For general candidates, some IIITs may prefer a 75% aggregate in Class 12 or top 20 percentile in the board exam (this rule was relaxed in some recent years, so check the current year's requirements).
