I want to pursue B.arch from IIT Kharagpur. What sort of rank do I need to get in JEEmain paper2 as JEEadvance is not for paper 2 candidate.

Hi dear,
            JEE main paper 2 has nothing to do with admission in IIT Kharagpur.Hence you can't get admission in IIT kharagpur on the basis of your JEE mains Score or rank.

For admission in IIT kharagpur for B.Arch.
1) Clear JEE main exam with good rank.
2) Crack JEE advanced with good score.
3) Give B.arch paper known as AAT (for those who have cleared JEE advanced) .
4) On basis of your AAT rank and score you will get admission in IIT kharagpur.

Now you can apply for NIT's on basis of JEE main paper 2.
