No it is not mandatory for you to give improvement in all the five subjects if you are planning to appear in JEE Main 2018.
In case you have not been able to score the requisite marks to be eligible to appear for JEE Main, then you can give improvement in the subjects in which you have scored less and ensure that you meet the required marks.
If you want to score just 75% marks so that you can appear for the JEE Main 2018 entrance exam, then you may just write improvement in those papers where you have scored less. However, if you want to get into the top 20 percentile then you will have to appear in all the subjects for improvement.

Hello sir....... actually I have got 79.4 percent in 12th cbse board exam2018 ...but I have to appear in Jee main2019.....and I am not satisfied with my board result..I want to reappear for board exam..only in two subjects maths and physics....but many of the student aadvised that it is necessary to give all the five subjects exam.....sir what should I do? Pls help me to clear this confusion....I will be thankful to u...... remember sir...I have to appear in JEE MAIN 2019....

No it's not necessary ...you only required to write those papers in which your marks are somewhat less

Not necessary,, which one you want to give for improvement test,, only those one's you can. That's yours choice..
