As a general category For 15% quota seats you need to score minimum 563 in NEET entrance exam & Your rank should be 8317. And for 85% quota seats in your state you require more than 500 to get the seat in Gov. colleges.

but some of the students I know score 576 marks around and still dropped for again preparation of neet why so
Do you know their caste? It can be OC. I heard that they have it tough around here (though I'm not sure about that). But there could be other reasons too. One person I know actually didn't apply for counciling even though he got good marks and therefore had to study an other year.But other than those reasons 576 is a really great mark. They can get gov. seat for sure.
