Dear Annapoorna, the eligibility criteria are different for different category of seats. 

• For Government seats, only those citizens of India who have completed their MBBS from an Institute located in Karnataka are eligible.
• For NRI seats, only NRI/Wards of NRI/PIO/OCI are eligible.
• For GMP Private seats, only those candidates who have completed their MBBS in an Institution located in Karnataka are eligible. For OPN Private sears, it is mandatory to complete MBBS from Karnataka.
