Dear Aspirant,
MHT CET is a state-level engineering test conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education. This for the colleges of Maharashtra for the undergraduate courses in engineering. The mode of application is online while the test is offline pen and paper test.
Exam Paper Pattern
- Candidates have to appear in 2 papers – Paper I (Mathematics) & Paper II (Physics & Chemistry).
- The candidate seeking admission to first year Engineering and Technology degree courses it is mandatory for them to appear for both Paper I and II. 1 hour 30 minutes will be given to answer each section .
- Both papers will be for a total 100 marks.
- Every correct response in Paper II will fetch 1 mark, while 2 marks will be given to each correct answer in Paper I. There will be no negative marking.
- Paper II (Physics & Chemistry) will be conducted in English/Hindi/Marathi languages, while paper I will be held in English language only.
Syllabus
The syllabus is based on 11th and 12th class syllabus of Maharashtra board. 20% weightage will be given to the class 11 topics, whereas, 80% weightage will be given to topics from class 12 syllabus.
