Correct Answer: Article 79

Solution : The correct answer is Article 79.

The Government of India Act 1919 introduced bicameralism in the country. The Indian Legislative Council was replaced by a bicameral legislature, which consists of an upper house and a lower house. The idea of a bicameral parliament was taken from the British Constitution. Article 79 states that there shall be a parliament that consists of the president and two houses, which are the Council of States and the House of People.
