For NIT's:

• Newer NITs or those in less competitive locations may offer seats in branches like Civil, Mechanical, or Metallurgy.
• NITs with Home State Quota: If you apply under the home state quota, some NITs may have lower cutoffs for the ST category.

For IIIT's:

• Newer IIITs or IIITs with less demand may offer you a chance, although it may not be for the most sought-after branches.

The cutoff for the Army Institute of Law for candidates from an Army background is between 65 to 70 marks, while for civilian candidates it ranges from 130 to 135 marks The AIL LET 2024 exam was conducted on June 9, 2024 in a computer-based online mode at allotted test centres for admission to BA LLB course offered by All Mohall. The AIL LET 2024 registration without a late fee was open till May 8, 2024. Around 3000-4000 students appear for the entrance test.
