Course Overview

The Nano @ Stanford training provides rich materials for you to become productive users of the nano@stanford nano-characterisation and nanofabrication facilities and tools. These facilities include Stanford Nano Shared Facilities (SNSF), Environment Measurement Facility (EMF), Stanford Nanofabrication Facility (SNF) and Material Analysis Facility (MAF).

The Nano @ Stanford online course teaches foundational principles, topics, concepts and in-depth operating processes for various equipment in the nanofabrication facilities. It also provides the essential processes and tools in SNSF and SNF, further offering training across multiple levels with diverse learning and instruction techniques. Since this training entails a short ten-week span and is self-directed, learners can comfortably partake in it.

Stanford University’s Stanford Online initiative has developed the Nano @ Stanford certification syllabus. The course curriculum will provide value to lab members and learners who seek comprehensive knowledge about characterisation and fabrication. Anyone, whether researchers or students, interested in nanofabrication can enrol and view the study materials to quench their thirst for knowledge. This self-paced programme can be taken by the learners either paying the fee or free. In the free mode, the candidates can get access only for a limited period.
