The Techno Institute of Management Sciences, Lucknow (TIMSL) has certain cutoff factors that are used to determine the eligibility of students for admission. These factors include the marks obtained in the qualifying exam, the score in the entrance exam, the performance in the personal interview, and the overall academic performance. The TIMS cutoff will be released according to the category. Based on the cutoff, the institute will admit the students for MBA programme. The cutoff marks for each of the factors are determined by the institute on an annual basis and may vary depending on the number of students appearing for the exam and other factors. The TIMS will release the cutoff based on the scores in the CAT or XAT.
