Yes, To take admission in B.Tech. in biotechnology from IITs, You have to appear in JEE Mains first. Since every IIT take admission in basis of JEE Mains and Advanced Rank. You must have 10+2 certificate in PCM/PCB. Some college take admission in basis of Common Entrance Test.
Also, JNU provide Biotech course for non mathematics students.
