Hello,it is not necessary to have a hotel management specialisation to be recruited by the food industry.Many management officials are not from hotel management fields.Though you may need to do certificate course in the same if required by the job description.The skills required for recruitment are financial management,team building, operational knowledge, leadership, detail oriented .If you can exhibit that you are capable of carrying out these functions for the best of the organisation you will be hired.
