Since the college is newly open, its temporary campus is presently running at NIT Trichy, which is among the top 10 Universities of India.

As IIIT Trichy runs under ( public private partnership ) mode ,mentored by the most prestigious college NIT Trichy.

Hostels, mess,laboratories (lab uniform too), college grounds,gym ,swimming pool etc are shared in common with NIT students.

And we talk about placement then this will be done in 2018 (7th semester of first batch). As it is running under PPP so placement with good package is expected.

Also, the advantage of IIIT is that Industry Partners are one of the stake holders of the Institute. There Industry partners are willing to offer internships to students during their studies to enrich their programming skills and application of ideas to projects, etc. Students are encouraged to undertake projects in Industries.
