IIIT Trichy Reviews on Infrastructure, Campus, Placement, Facilities & Faculty

College has necessary infrastructure facilities and equipments for the students according to requirements. Classrooms has smart boards ,projector facilities, laboratories are well - maintained ,wifi facility is available is college ,mess area , hostel also. Cleanliness is also maintained in hostel , mess etc. Food is highly hygienic.

I'm studying Electronics and Communication Engineering from IIIT TRICHY because I want to join this branch .Professors are too good dnd their teaching style is also nice and they saught in very friendly manner not too much fast . Yes ,our curriculum is updated time to time as per requirements and new research. New ideas and job opportunities.

As like other colleges,our college is new ,but the quality of placement is nice only. Just like if we say about percentage of students placed that is not 100 percent because reason behind this is many students adopt for higher studies ,many wants to go abroad for doing further studies,some wants to join Government jobs .This time highest placement is 20 lakh and average is around 9 lakh .

According to value for money, it's a nice college with good faculties.Our course costs around 1 lakh per semester. As per placements that is going on this time,if we will try for good opportunities. Actually we have good faculties and a good coding culture .

Campus Life is good as our college is not too big ,but it is nice. Most of the students are engaged in clubs ,events ,sports etc . In our college, students are from all over India and we always try to other students customs, languages.Actually it's a opportunity to learn something.

We are currently using Nit Trichy as our host college, For hostel one needs to commute from another college hostel which is 25 km away or have your own rental room nearby. One can still use other facilities by Nit except hostel.

This IIIT have its own faculties and will increase in near future, college is still focused on curriculum by Nit but in process to transition from theory to skill based. For new batches there is plan to scrap unnecessary subjects.

The student strength is 45 pre batch so it is not economical companies to visit. Still because of IIIT brand student are securing interview at FANG companies. Again if you are interested in research this college is great as student to professors ratio is great!
