Indian Institute of Information Technology Tiruchirappalli, which was founded in 2013, does not provide scholarships on behalf of the IIIT Trichy to its students. However, students can apply for various state and central government scholarships to get academic support. There are separate scholarships for students belonging to SC/ST or economically weak sections from the state as well as the central government. College Infrastructure
College has necessary infrastructure facilities and equipments for the students according to requirements. Classrooms has smart boards ,projector facilities, laboratories are well - maintained ,wifi facility is available is college ,mess area , hostel also. Cleanliness is also maintained in hostel , mess etc. Food is highly hygienic.

We are currently using Nit Trichy as our host college, For hostel one needs to commute from another college hostel which is 25 km away or have your own rental room nearby. One can still use other facilities by Nit except hostel.
