Yes each exam charges its own fee for participating in that particular exam.

VITEE is an entrance exam for admissions in branches like Vit vellore,Vit bhopal.

I think that Vitee charges fee of almost Rs 1200 and bitsat is an entrance exam for admissions in branches like Bits Pilani,Hyderabad,Goa campus.

And the fee for BITSAT is around Rs 2700.

Every private university's own entrance exam has its registration fee, for VITEEE its 1150/-  for online application form and for BITSAT it is different for male and females candidates. For male candidates it is 3150/- and for female candidates it is 2650/- for online application form.

Yes, There are many universities that take admissions based on the exams conducted by the institute itself. Mostly the exams are on the basis of JEE mains syllabus and the marking schemes are different. Candidates who opt for taking admissions in to these colleges should have cleared theses exam. And for these exams the college takes an amount of money as exam fee, which should be submitted during registration. Each college has a different exam fee.
