Amity University | M.Tech Admissions 2025
ApplyRanked amongst top 3% universities globally (QS Rankings).
Based on your percentile, it will be difficult to get through in IIITs or any other college for that matter through the JoSAA counselling. However, you do have the option of getting into colleges through state counselling and university counselling. Talking about state counselling, for example, if you want to get admission into colleges in the south, then you can apply in the Maharashtra state counselling and open your options of getting several colleges that come under it, like Thadomal Shahani Engineering College, Mumbai, Thakur College of Engineering and Technology, Mumbai, Vishwakarma Institute of Information Technology, Pune, and many more.
I also suggest that you sit for the second attempt of JEE Mains since you will get a chance to improve your score.

Hello aspirant,
The 75% mark requirement for admission to NITs, IIITs, and other GFTIs has been reinstated by the National Testing Agency (NTA). To be admitted to these institutions beginning in 2023, applicants must pass the JEE Main test and achieve a minimum grade point average of 75% in their Class 12 board exams.
So as your score is more than 75 percent, you can give JEE Mains test and get into IITs or NIITs.
Thank you
Hope it helps you.
Hello Aspirant,
First of all you need to calm down yourself and think of the difficulties one by one and overcome it one by one. If you will think of all the problems at a time then it won't be happening . So as you have joined online classes . If you are not able to manage then it's of no use. You need to give time to your self preparation.
Hello Aspirant,
You need to have Physics , Chemistry and Mathematics as the main subjects and you can't have mathematics as the optional subject.
In aggregate you need to score 75% marks in the 12th boards. This is the minimum percentage required to be eligible for the jee mains examination.
Due to COVID earlier this criteria was removed but now the 75% has been reapplied and this is the mandatory criteria.
Hello Aspirant,
First of let me clear you that in NITs/IIITs the admission is done through jee mains score and through jee advanced so you can comment your JEE mains rank in the comments section so that I can tell you your chances of getting nits/iits.
But if this is your JEE mains rank then I would say you need to wait till csab round if you want to get a decent NIT OR GFTI OR IIIT . You can go for NITs like Srinagar , Mizoram, Meghalaya , Jalandhar . In IIITs you can go for kancheepuram, bhagalpur.
