I pursued by phd degree from iisc banglore in 2024, the research infrastructure was excellent and the environment was also very pleaseant, especially the computing facilities, the college felt very research oriented.

in the academics the main focus was research, so surely the academics according to me was good because the experience i had was very different from the degrees i did earlie, wroking with faculty, innovation , ideas all felt very rewarding .

the palcements for the phd were good, it opened up opportunities mainly in research, teaching and speciallisedtechnical roles in the technical companies, institute's well maintained reputation was enough for long term growth

CS and Automation at IISc is intense and research focused, professors are top tier and actively working in their fields which really shows, curriculum is highly updated and pushes you to think beyond textbooks, very self driven environment, not for everyone but if you're into research this is the place

placements are more research and academia oriented here, industry placements happen but most go into top research roles or PhD programs abroad, packages for industry are strong, 30-60 LPA range, IISc brand is extremely well respected globally, process is smooth and well supported

fees are very subsidized being a central institution, around 30-40k per year which is almost nothing, for the research exposure, world class faculty and global brand value, its genuinely unmatched value for money

campus in Bangalore is stunning, one of the most beautiful in asia honestly, lots of academic events and seminars keep things engaging, student community is small but extremely brilliant, faculty is very approachable, Bangalore location is a massive plus, feels safe and well managed at all times

Technology and research wise iisc facility are very good. And have a we organized classroom, auditorium, and conference halls,acedmic facilities such library, laboratory , and technical equipment are available for advanced research and knowledge

Since iisc is a science institute , there generally iisc student prefer to go for research field there fore placement of iisc is not that level of IITs although it's good. Average package ir around 8-10 lacks and in software and super computer department (CAD) package will go up to 2-3 crore

Colege infrastructure, facilities and equipments are of top notch . We also have smart classes Best in class Laboratories.And we also have gym and hostels . Only downside is that hostels dont have Wifi.

Im studying B.Sc Research in Physics department. All the faculties are the best and very helpful and the teaching is also great and the curriculum is updated with the recent developments in the field of knowledge.

The placements is very good but most of the students go for higher studies rather than sitting in placements.But those who sit for placements get their job.The highest package is of 40 Lpa in Bsc and they also help students to do Internships .

Our college provides excellent Wi-Fi. The labs have good computers. Classrooms are clean and have good lighting effects. The library has many books. The good part is that they allow us to borrow for many days, and the penalty is less for late submissions. Every odd semester, we have a fest. The hostel is not very good, and the food is not good.

Approximately 98% of students get placed. The lowest package is INR 6 LPA, the highest package is around INR 25 LPA, and the average package is INR 13 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Chemist and BioneedsRSC et98% of students get placed. Teacher qualifications are impressive. Many teachers are Ph.D. holders and very experienced. Exams are conducted very strictly, and you can get good marks if you study from the first day. The pass percentage is 40%. We will have two internals and one end-of-semester exam. Exams are challenging to pass, but they teach us in an understanding way so we can succeed. Last year, the passing rate was 64%.

Infrastructure is really good. Gymkhana is there for sports facilities. Some of the best labs in India. Nice and single hostel rooms. Only drawback is hostel rooms don't have Wi-Fi. Library has a huge collection of books. There are several clubs to fulfill your hobbies.

Faculties are world-class. They are the best in their respective fields. The course curriculum is a little bit tough as you will have a heavy workload in our department. Faculty members are always there to help you. You will learn many new things. Everyone is very helpful. Course feedback is taken every semester to increase the productiveness of the course.

Placements are awesome. You'll be mostly placed in core companies. You can also sit for internships and get good PPO. You can go into the domain you like the most (like digital, embedded, analog and software). Help provided by seniors for placements are awesome.

The infrastructure is literally the best in any premier institute of the country. The classrooms, library, and labs are of international standards. Wi-Fi and network connectivity are amazing in most parts. Food is better than any IIT. The canteens are good. Medical facilities are very good with quick response and great infrastructure. Sports and games facilities are also good. Gymkhana, grounds for many games and many other things are available.

The faculty members are highly qualified. Most of them being researchers. Many are from Harvard, MIT, University of Berkley, etc. The curriculum is really good for research purposes (in BS). The difficulty of exams depends on the professors. Most of the students pass with ease

A majority of students go for higher studies, and very few sit for placements. They grab very good placements. The highest package offered is 40 LPA in B.Sc. From this year onwards, the management is focusing on all aspects of jobs, internships, and co-curricular activities. Grabbing a job and an internship is really easy here, but most people don't go for it. The placement cell is the same for UG and PG courses. The best companies come here for PG students, so the same would replicate for the newly modified UG programs. Companies include Google, Goldman Sachs etc. Top roles are head math researcher, etc.
