PES University, Bangalore Admission Process

PES University Admissions 2025-26 are entrance-based.
Entrance Exams Accepted: JEE Main, KCET, CLAT, PESSAT, LSAT, NATA, PGCET, CAT, MAT, CMAT, GMAT, GRE, and GATE scores are accepted.
Students can apply for GATE 2026 till October 9, 2025 with late fees.
CAT 2025 exam will be conducted on November 30, 2025.

PES University Bangalore provides admission to undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes. PES University admissions to B.Tech courses are through JEE Main scores. Up to 10% of seats are reserved for KCET students paying PESU JEE Mains Fee. UCEED scores are accepted for PES University B.Des admissions.

Faculty members are the best. The questions are tough during exams but faculty members always guide us to score good marks. The pass percentage is 80%. Many teachers are qualified PHD holder's. Course curriculum is very relevant to industry.

i got ec branch in pes university bengalore. should i choose this college or go for tier 2 college for cse

Hello Bhoomika,

If you love CSE and have a Tier 2 college with CSE at hand, consider it over EC at PES University. PES is a recognized Tier 1.5 college with brilliant infrastructure and industry connections. However, branch matters a lot and since you want core software roles, it has an impact on your opportunities.

But, if you are comfortable switching to CSE-related roles down the line (upskilling or internal branch change), then PES University's reputation and exposure can still provide opportunities in the future. At the end of the day, decide what is more important to you: branch vs brand.

PES University Bangalore placement

Dear Harshita,

yaa it's a University with like last year highest placement was 65 lpa, total placement offers:- 1500+, total internships:- 1,250+, participating companies: 350+, overall package 18 LPA, with a median around 12-13 LPA. So, all I can say like core branches get good placements and like overall it's a good University.
