Hello student ,
As IIIT Delhi is a newer than IIIT bangalore and when we look at reviews then IIIT Bangalore has a bit better reviews and rating than IIIT Delhi.
Talking about the placements then both the institutes have around same placement percentage. The average salary offered to the candidates from IIIT Delhi is INR 12 Lakhs per annum, whereas the average salary offered to the candidates from IIIT Bangalore is INR 13 Lakhs per annum.
Hope this helps and good luck
Hi,
I hope you are doing well.
IIT Delhi has a overall student rating of 4.5/5 and it has some great positive reviews regarding its college by the students.
Almost 85-90% of the students get placed in top companies in the placement cell of the college.
On average students get placed with a package salary of around 16lakhs per annum, which is absolutely great and one of the highest.
IIT Tiruchirapalli has a overall student rating of 3.5/5 and they have some great positive reviews by their past students as well. They have great placement records in their college as well which gets them job opportunities in top companies, a student recently got a highest package of 14 lakhs per annum & on average students get a package salary of 7-8 lakhs per annum.
IIT Bangalore Has a overall student rating of 4.5/5 and has some of the excellent reviews related to the college by their students.
Students here also get the opportunity of getting placed at top companies providing them a wonderful job perspective with excellent salary packages. Highest salary offered to a student recently was 18 lakhs per annum & on average students get placed with a package salary of 12-13 lakhs per annum.
Therefore, all these three institutions are absolutely great and perfect in their academics and placements. But trichy has slightly a less exposure in terms of salary packages of IIT Delhi and Bangalore.!
i hope the above information helps.
Al the very best.

Hi,
Well, you have not chances as your marks are low in RGUKT CET for iiit and the criteria follows that the students who got score minimum of 75-80 Marks for the general category will have a chance to get a seat in IIIT. For reserved category candidates, the minimum score is 55-60.
In order to secure a seat in IIIT the eligibility criteria is to have a 75% marks in your boards exam otherwise you should be in the top 20 percentile. For ST/SC qualifying marks is 65% board exams.
But don't loose hope try again or you can take admission in other good colleges.

Hello,
With your rank and category it is difficult to get into any national and government aided colleges through JoSAA. I would suggest you to look for other state wise engineering entrance exams and other state level counselling that consider JEE Mains score. Some good colleges I would recommend are:
Dr. S.S. Bhatnagar University Institute of Chemical Engineering and Technology, Panjab University, Chandigarh
University Institute of Engineering and Technology, Panjab University, Chandigarh

Dear aspirant,
As you have mentioned that you have secured 56 percentile overall in your last attempt for jee so let me tell you that your predicted colleges are nits like Srinagar Agartala mizoram Arunachal Pradesh Meghalaya Nagaland.
So it's very difficult to predict what exact branch would you get but you can hope for chemical , production and metallurgy although various factors are considered while deciding the cut offs like number of candidates appearing in the examination, number of vacant seats in college, previous years cut off.

Hi,
All three are good Institutes and two of them are Institute of National Importance. ECE is the most popular branch after CSE and IT. Among these three, MY first choice would be IIIT Trichy. IIIT Trichy has NIT Trichy as it's Mentor Institute. This will give more career opportunities for the students of IIIT Trichy. The second choice would be IIIT Kottayam and third choice would be IIIT Bhuvneshwar.IIIT Bhubaneswar is not a National Institute of Importance but it is a State University, while IIIT Kottayam is an Institute of National Importance. IIIT Kottayam Reputation will improve in the coming years .
I hope this will answer your query.
Thanks!!!

Hello,
I hope you are doing good,
I would not say that you should rely “entirely” on branch change in IIT. Think of it this way, you have just canceled one of the toughest tests in India, and at IIT you will meet guys of almost all ages and each looking for an opportunity to switch to a branch they could not afford at their first level. Therefore, it is undeniable that a former schoolboy who was absent will not be more than the average Joe there.
The branch change is the result of a continuous annual review of your scholarships, and you will likely be disciplined once or more during this time. Having said that, I would like to add that you should not be disappointed with these facts. Branch change is not as difficult as statistics make it. Ordinary study hours in college are enough to bring you branch change. But it wastes those hours of study that are hard to manage if you have too much to do here.
I hope this answer will help you.
THANK YOU!!!
