    WBJEE Board conducts West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) to screen eligible candidates for admission to various B.Tech courses offered by the participating institutes. Candidates who wish to apply for WBJEE will have to meet the eligibility criteria prescribed by the authorities and then proceed towards filling the application form. Candidates who qualify the entrance examination become eligible for admission to 90 participating institutes through the counselling procedure.

    Presidency University Admission through PUBDET and PUMDET

    The WBJEEB conducts offline entrance tests for UG and PG courses called PUBDET and PUMDET, respectively. The entrance tests are conducted screen the candidates for admissions to the courses offered in the Presidency University. Therefore to apply for admission to Presidency University, candidates are required to register for PUBDET and PUMDET in online mode only. The exam dates for the Presidency University admission 2020 differs as per the courses.

The application for JELET is released in online mode for the eligible candidates. JELET is held for 2-hour in which candidates have to answer multiple choice types questions. A total of 100 questions are asked.

    WBJEE Board conducts WB JEECA (Common Joint Entrance Examination) for admission to Master of Computer Application courses offered by various institutions of West Bengal.     A non-local student does not get full fee reimbursement through MHT-CET or WBJEE. Full fee reimbursement is usually given only to students who belong to the home state and satisfy the state-specific eligibility rules. In MHT-CET, only Maharashtra domicile candidates under valid categories are eligible for government fee reimbursement.

    Hi dear candidate,

    WBJEE, NIPER, JEE and GATE all are entrance exams for higher studies.

    WBJEE is engineering entrance exam for West Bengal colleges.

    NIPER is a PG program for admission in pharmacy masters or PhD programs.

    JEE is all over India entrance exam for engineering.

    GATE is all over

    Hello dear candidate,

    You cannot get admission later through WBJEE counselling for that year if you missed the decentralized counselling as it is the official last chance to get admission through WBJEE.

    Only chance left is by management quota but the fees are very high.

    The Mop Round for WBJEE B.Tech counselling in 2025 would be held in late 2025, after the main counselling and allotment rounds have concluded. You can also refer to the official website of WBJEE for further information or detailed information.
