Aliah University, Kolkata Placements

Aliah University was set up by Warren Hastings in New Town, Kolkata in 1780 and thus forms one of the oldest institutes in the country. It was known previously as the Calcutta Madrasah or the Mohammedan College of Calcutta. It was in 2008 that this institute was converted into a university and has offered many undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral courses since then.

AU offers a plethora of course options namely arts, science, technology, nursing, Islamic Theology, and engineering to name a few. It is essentially a state university that is accredited the AA+ grade by the NAAC(National Assessment and Accreditation Council) and is also affiliated to the UGC.

Aliah University spans an area of 20 acres and has 200 faculty members that support the 5800 student enrollments in the university. The university also offers amazing placement opportunities to students. For this, it has established a Training and Placement cell that addresses issues of students in this regard.

AU Placement Procedure 2024

Companies visit the campus and give a presentation about their company, products, services, job opportunities, etc.
The students are required to meet certain criteria for eligibility to apply for the placements.

in 11th and 12th i am not having mathematics but i do have computer as a subject so can i be eligible for bca course in aliah university?

Hello,

Unfortunately, you won't be eligible for the BCA program at Aliah University because the eligibility criteria for BCA is that the applicants are required to achieve a 10+2 score in each specialization (Arts, Commerce, Science) by a recognized body with an overall grade of 50. Applicants must have English and Maths as compulsory subjects in 12th grade.

Allah university doesn't offer Bachelor in pharmacy course. It offers various course from science background like B.Sc, btech,mtech etc .

there are so many other colleges who offers the b-pharma course you can apply on those colleges or the average fees of a b-pharma in india is INR 1.82 lakh to 3 lakh.
