My college has all the important facilities that are required for a healthy learning environment. The classrooms are spacious, the labs has all the necessary equipments required for the practical purposes. My college has a strong wifi connection with other electronic facilities like projectors smartboards etc. Most importantly, all the facilities provided by my college are well maintained.
My college focusses on skill based learning rather than being confined to text books which is very important because it is primarily an engineering college helping to structure future engineers like me. The curriculum is very student friendly yet there is a strict administration in our college which governs our academic growth according to the recent market standards and the needs of the companies that our college brings in during placement years.
The placement rate of our college is around 90% with the median package being 4-6 LPA and the highest package being 62 LPA from the department of b.tech CSE. This shows that our college has a good academic environment which grows every year with the growth of the renowned industrial markets. The placement process was comparatively easy according to the alumni reports and our college was pretty supportive.
The median placement offers of our college reaches up to 6 LPA and more which covers more than that I will be investing in these four years which is 1.68 LPA. So, yes I feel that I'm getting my money's worth.
One of the best features of our college is that it has a green campus with lots of flora and fauna which gives it a great and healthy location to study in. In addition to that it's anti-ragging campus. There is no as such worst features that I can recall about our college but I believe even so our college does that it is open for improvements to be brought-in in the future. The students teachers and other staffs are very supportive, approachable and they not only look after our curriculum but also looks after our safety. For example our campus have well maintained CCTVs, and proper hygiene to mention a few. Which again shows it indeed can handle emergencies. In short our college helps in the overall development of a student.

"The college infrastructure is impressive and well-maintained. Being an AI/ML student, having access to high-performance computing is essential, and the computer labs here are excellent with up-to-date software and high-speed Wi-Fi connectivity. The classrooms are spacious, well-ventilated, and equipped with projectors for digital learning. The central library is vast, with a great collection of reference books and journals. The campus environment, including the canteen and washrooms, is cleaned regularly and maintains good hygiene standards."
"I am currently studying B.Tech in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, and the academic quality here is top-notch. The curriculum is updated and aligns well with current industry trends, covering Python, Data Science, and Neural Networks in depth. The faculty members are highly qualified and supportive; they don't just focus on theory but emphasize practical lab work and projects. The professors are approachable and mentor us well, ensuring that we are job-ready by the end of the course."
"The placement record at our college is one of its strongest points. A high percentage of students (around 80-90%) get placed in reputable IT and core companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, and Cognizant. The highest salary package offered has gone up to 10-14 LPA, while the average package sits comfortably between 4-5 LPA. The Training and Placement cell is very active; they support us throughout the process with mock interviews, aptitude training, and soft skills workshops."
"The fee structure is quite reasonable compared to other private engineering colleges in West Bengal. When you weigh the cost against the quality of infrastructure, the experienced faculty, and the placement opportunities provided, it is definitely value for money. The return on investment (ROI) is positive given the average placement packages. I feel my money is being well spent on a quality education."
"Campus life is vibrant and very engaging. The college organizes amazing annual fests—both technical (Avenir) and cultural (Mesmerizer)—which allow students to showcase their talents. The campus crowd is friendly, and the seniors are helpful rather than intimidating. The location in Garia is safe and easily accessible by public transport. There are various clubs for coding, photography, and robotics that keep us engaged outside of the classroom. It is a safe and welcoming environment."
"Overall, my experience at Netaji Subhas Engineering College has been transformative. It provides the right balance between strict academics and a fun college life. I would definitely recommend this college to aspiring engineers who are looking for good guidance and a solid career path."
This college barely meets the definition of having “infrastructure.” Most facilities exist only on paper and in admission brochures. Classrooms are cramped, poorly maintained, and feel like they haven’t been upgraded in years. Labs either lack basic equipment or have machines that don’t work half the time. The library is outdated, internet connectivity is unreliable, and common areas are neglected. What’s advertised as “modern facilities” is just the bare minimum stretched beyond its limit. Maintenance is reactive, not proactive, and students are expected to adjust instead of the institution improving. Calling this adequate infrastructure is an exaggeration at best and a lie at worst.
Academics here are a complete disappointment and feel like an afterthought rather than the core purpose of a college. Most faculty members rely on outdated notes, recycled slides, and rote teaching methods that actively discourage critical thinking. Classes are rushed, poorly structured, and often reduced to exam-oriented spoon-feeding instead of real learning. There is little emphasis on practical understanding, research, or conceptual clarity. Doubts are brushed aside, syllabus completion is treated as an achievement, and genuine academic curiosity is quietly punished. The curriculum feels stagnant, disconnected from industry or modern developments, and students are left to self-study if they want any real competence.
Placements here are practically nonexistent, and calling this a “placement cell” is an insult to functional systems everywhere. Companies rarely visit, and when they do, they offer low-effort roles with laughable packages that go nowhere. There is zero career guidance, no resume support, no serious industry connections, and absolutely no accountability. Students are left scrambling on their own while the college shamelessly inflates numbers using off-campus drives and irrelevant internships. Final-year students graduate with degrees and anxiety, not jobs. This place does not prepare you for employment—it abandons you and hopes you won’t complain too loudly.

very poor. Small campus
Infrastructures are average, buildings and rooms are good. Laboratories are well equipped. But the campus is too small to have the number of students who are currently studying in the college. It is good but not recommended.
Academics are also average. Faculties somewhat have a rude attitude towards the students and some faculties are really good. overall it is average but students here and seniors are really helpful. So it is so so.
Placements are also average. On campus placements are really low. if you can get a off-campus placements, you will flourish and last year the average package or CTC was 5.5LPA. but the highest CTC went up to 62LPA.
Not that good as the campus is a bit small for a student who is expecting to have a great college life. Good condition laboratories and well designed classrooms with air conditioning in all of it. Overall it is average.
Academics are also average as there are only few faculties whom you will love and want to attend their lectures. Others are total shit and also some of the faculties made themselves the god like they are the only one in the college. Their attitude is unbearable.
Placements are poorer comparing it from previous years. In 2024 the placement was only 85% of students with a average CTC of 5.5LPA. but the highest package went upto 62LPA CTC. So, developing skills are mandatory otherwise no proper placement for you
There are everything that is necessary for a student to understand and apply their current course both physically and theoretically. The laboratories are very well and nicely equiped, the faculty is very encouraging and supportive. The college ensures wifi, projectors, indoor and outdoor sport areas. There's a dedicated library for every course related books and which is nicely managed by the college stuffs. We got two very good cafeterias with a good sitting area. The quality of the food is modarate but they ensure good hygiene. Note: There are not enough air conditioners for all the classes only the fifth floor have it.
I'm studying artificial intelligence and machine learning which is a good stream to be honest. The faculty is good and they teaches with great professionalism. I hope this course and the guidance will help me for the future placements.
80% students get placed every year. A large number of students have hired by the TCS and Cognizant. The college is associated with NAAC so that you'll get a chance to get into reputed and big companies like microsoft or amazon when your grades are fulfilling their criteria.
As a private college the pricing is quite reasonable but the architectural goodness is still missing somewhere. There are air conditioner friendly class rooms but there are not enough air conditioners as promised early.
The college campus is satisfactory and the location is quite dull but the area is safe. The college feels like home when the professors are supportive. The professors, the stuffs and the learning environment is very good and it feels like home.
It has a good infrastructure but not every room has AC , so some time it's really hot inside in summer . It has to be improved. Living species are clean and canteen foods are tasty and hygienic. Overall it's good .
It's good . Most of the teachers are good . Some teachers are really good in communication , teaching & understanding students . We need to update our syllabus so that we can go along with recent dvelopments .
There some students who got good packages in on campus placements .. but compare to off campus placements it's nothing. In on campus avg salary is about 5-6 lpa . I personally not really like it . So I want to go for off campus placements.
Good but not the best .
College got a really small campus .
our college is very well maintained about the infrastructure, facilies and equipments. The facilities related to classroomed, labratories,,spors centres and hostels are pretty much decent and more renovation is expected. thank you!!
The quality of teaching is good. The curriculum is decently updated and there have been some recent developments in the field. Yes,passing from this institution does make us job ready and skill oriented. Thank you!!
on campus placent is decent and if u study on placement oriented stuffs there is a high possibility that u will get a job. the placement solely depends on the hard work of the students. Several big companies do visit out college.
The infrastructure are well maintained and comfortable. The classrooms are airy and windy making the environment cool during hot climate. The classrooms are smart classes. The blackboard position is also nice.
The results and academics have been pretty good. The teaching makes the sudents have an upper hand in academics. The results throughout the years have been well and also the academics have been pretty good.
The placements of this College has been something for which it has been known for. The placements assistance provided by this College is also very nice. They train students for every type of jobs from college.
Overall good
The benches are well maintained and comfortable. Also the classrooms are airy with both AC and NON AC classrooms. The rooms are having smart boards. The blackboard position is visible from all parts of class.
The results of this college have been fair. Also the teaching of teachers enhanced the students to do well in academics. This college also prepares the students for all kinds of exams giving them an upper hand.
The placements have been good since past few years. The students have been placed at good opportunities. They have been provided with high lpa packages with a very good placement assistance provided from this college.
Everything is good.
Hey Sajal:)
Thanks for reaching out!
Congrats on getting a great WBJEE rank of 5075!
At your rank both are open to you for CSE,but the choice depends on what you value more.NSEC is know for its placement record. Top recruiters visit, the average package is higher, and it has stong
Hello,
Choosing between RCC Institute of Information Technology (RCCIIT) and Netaji Subhash Engineering College (NSEC) for MCA depends on your priorities regarding attendance and placements.
1. Attendance:
While official policies at both institutions generally require 75% attendance, NSEC is typically perceived as being more lenient with attendance enforcement. This leniency
