Lady Shriram College for Women, New Delhi Placements

The placement of Lady Shri Ram College is the practice of hiring people from an institute or organisation in order to give them exposure to professional work which becomes beneficial to both the parties. Lady Shri Ram College Placement Cell serves as a link between the students and the recruiters. Lady Shri Ram College Placement Cell organizes workshops, seminars and internship opportunities for the students in addition to bringing a varied list of recruiters on campus for placements.

Lady Shri Ram College Placement Cell is headed by five Coordinators, two Sub- Coordinators, a Research & Training Head and a Treasurer, who are in turn supported by an efficient team of 31 internship and Placement Department Representatives, a dedicated team of 25 Members and 11 core team member who assist the Coordinators in logistical arrangements.

Lady Shri Ram College Placement Cell organised various workshops in association with reputed organisations like T.I.M.E, Teach for India, Perspectico and various alumni of the college. Soft-skills workshops on Personal/Case Interviews and Group Discussions as well as sessions aimed at assisting students with CV-building were conducted by the Lady Shri Ram College Placement Cell. Workshops on Stress Management were conducted by Interns India, “How to crack cases'' was conducted by Shveta Raina, a Harvard alumna. Test preparation sessions by T.I.M.E. are organised throughout the year to make the students well versed with the interview process.

Lady Shri Ram College Placement Cell also organised the EY Scholarship Programme, an all India business case building competition, where one student was awarded a scholarship of INR 1 lakh and an internship opportunity at EY after rigorous selection procedure from a lot of applicants. The cell also partnered with prestigious firms to conduct competitions like the KPMG International Case Study Competition and EY Corporate Finance Woman of the year.

LSR BA(hons) Political Science is the better option over DTU Mechanical engineering for a civil service aspirant as you can choose Political science(PSIR) as your optional and it is a very scoring subject in comparison to Mechanical engineering as optional also political science as a subject will help you in GS as well as prelims whereas mechanical engineering wont. You will find so many aspirants in your class and well as in your college as DU is hub for civil services aspirants .
