Aditi Mahavidyalaya is a pioneer institution which offers education to the marginalised women population of rural outskirts of Delhi. This is a constituent college of the University of Delhi, established in 1994. Aditi Mahavidyalaya offers undergraduate courses in the humanities, social science and commerce. To get an admission to the Aditi Mahavidyalaya, candidates need to follow the DU admission process and register themselves at DU admission portal. Candidates will be shortlisted based on the qualifying exam marks at 12 class. The cutoff is prepared based on the marks obtained in the ‘best of four’ subject marks in the qualifying examination. Aditi Mahavidyalaya has the facilities of NSS, NCC and Student Union. The details about these facilities are given below:
NSS: The college has 4 NSS units. NSS volunteers conduct a variety of activities, such as orphanage visits, awareness programs and health camps. In addition, the NSS holds annual camps in a rural location, where students assist the residents in the development of their village.
NCC: NCC fortifies character, command and discipline among the students. It provides framing for a career in the forces. NCC Cadet Crop of the Aditi Mahavidyalaya organises and trains youth and provide leadership in all walks of life including the Armed and Navy forces. It also creates a suitable environment to motivate the youth to take up a career in the armed forces.
Students Union: Aditi Mahavidyalaya Students Union is the representative body of the students. Every year the College election is held and fought with great enthusiasm.
