the college building is too old and the benches are also broken and the fans in the college are very slow and the wifi is the worstt the network availability is worst, college looks good like great greenery there are animals present in campus
The process of academic is strict like they don't clear the topics and theory they only give attention to the front students, like they teach only from books they don;t use any kind of boards and projectors.
Recuriters and companies come but internships are paid like we have to pay for joining the internship so student aren't able to join for the internshi[ but the posiitve point is regular webinar and worshops held which practically teach us.
My fees is around 35,000, it's a Delhi University college but the fees is 2x more than comparative to other du colleges according to the fees i'm paying its not the value for money du must upgrade the various infra in the college.
Campus life is better but the location of the campus is not in the north and south but the campus is beautiful,it's in a safe college, sometimes college day feels to be boring because of not presence of many clubs and socities and because not avaible of funds for that sometiimes the event that held also get postponed or cancelled
The infrastructure of indraprastha college for women which is a part of delhi university .. It is different and very beautiful campus infrastructure with a various parks but the paint of college is shedding with really bad facilities like no air conditioner and the fans work really low so it's a mixed review for me
The academics of ipcw college is great I mean the professors are serious about studies and assignments but they use less digital techniques like they even didn't provide us notes and in some cases professors provide us.. Also teachers focus on book based knowledge I guess.. Not technique related and their voices doesn't even come at the back of the class.
Placements are okay many companies come in college and regularly many events and workshops are held by placement committee of our college.. So for placement it's a nice one I mean just work better on cv and then maybe you get but at the end teacher didn't provide you recommendation.
The average salary is ig minimum I mean many companies do come but they didn't offer well.. Also the internships provide in our college is paid so if you have money then you can do internship otherwise college doesn't offer free internship to promote every student.
Overall the campus life is okay not so great.. Sometimes it's boring because the societies in our college isn't so productive teachers focus on academics and not all societies are productive so the students don't get exposure in comparison to other du colleges.
I would the the college is okay. But I never recommend ipcw to anyone because the thing is that uts doesn't have many societies and opportunity like others and always cancel every events for students also the fees kd this college is higher then the other collges still doesn't give us better opportunities.. It's feels like a school classes and timetable are very bad... Teachers don't cooperate with students... They didn't even share knowledge and important info about us if we aks them they .....
The infrastructure of Indraprastha College for Women is honestly one of the best parts of the college. The campus is really beautiful — full of greenery, old heritage-style buildings, and peaceful vibes. The library is huge and well-maintained with plenty of books and journals. Classrooms are spacious and clean, though not all of them are air-conditioned. Labs are properly equipped and there’s Wi-Fi available on campus, but sometimes the connection isn’t great everywhere. Overall, it’s a calm and refreshing place to study.
Academics here are quite strong. Most of the teachers are highly qualified, friendly, and genuinely supportive. They teach really well and encourage us to ask questions and take part in discussions. The syllabus is updated, and we get regular assignments, projects, and presentations which actually help in learning. Some courses have a good balance between theory and practicals, though for others, there’s still room for improvement when it comes to hands-on exposure.
Placements in our college are decent but depend a lot on your course. Commerce and Economics students usually get better opportunities with companies like Deloitte, EY, and Amazon visiting the campus. For humanities courses, the placements aren’t as strong, though we still get good internship options through the placement cell. The placement cell also organizes sessions and workshops for resume building and interviews, which are helpful.
Considering it’s a Delhi University college, the fee is quite affordable. For the kind of education, faculty, and facilities we get, it’s definitely value for money. You get a good learning environment without having to pay huge amounts like private colleges.
Campus life at IPCW is calm, safe, and disciplined. Since it’s an all-girls college, the environment feels very secure and comfortable. There are different societies for music, dance, drama, debating, and many others — so if you’re active, you’ll find your space. Fests and cultural events do happen, but they’re not as grand as some other DU colleges. The crowd here is friendly and down-to-earth, and the overall atmosphere is positive and motivating.
My overall experience at Indraprastha College for Women has been really good. It’s a great college if you want strong academics, a peaceful environment, and supportive teachers. The campus itself gives such positive vibes, and you genuinely feel safe and focused here. Placements could be better for some courses, but the exposure and growth you get make up for it. I’d definitely recommend IPCW to anyone looking for a balanced college life with good learning and a beautiful campus.
One of the prettiest campus of Delhi University. It has a huge campus, with lots of classrooms ,a huge auditorium, sports playing areas, gym, swimming pool, two hostels, 3 storey library, wifi, smart boards . Greenery everywhere you look . There are peacocks as well. It's serene scenery. The canteen is a bit disappointed but there is Nescafe and amul which is preety good. Only drawback is classroom interior is outdated kinda.
I am pursuing bcom hons and faculty for the same is good. They are supportive but there is lot attendance issue here. The curriculum is updated and we have many sec vac courses which makes us job ready
Placements are okayish .They are average Average placement is 5-6 lpa and the highest is around 21 lacs. Companies like Deloitte and all come here. This year around 20 students were placed from my seniors batch.
Bcom hons costs 33k for 1st year and 24k approx for 2&3rd year. It is cheap as compared to private colleges and the facilities are pretty satisfactory for the amount's worth. But it could be better though.
College campus is the prettiest and aesthetic . Fests used to be great but not now. It's average. Workshops and seminars are conducted frequently but events are comparatively less. The location is posh and safe. There is always police patrolling specially during any event.
College is okayish. But since it's an only girls college,. it takes time to adjust here.
Yes my college have all the necessary infrastructure facilities and equipment but it lacks in sports field making the girls of college weak in above field. In classrooms AC is not there but in laboratories libraries and sports centre in hostels they all have Wi-Fi smart boards.yes they are well maintain and all the living species are clean and food hygiene.
I am pursuing BA English honours because it has a very good faculty for the English department the quality of teaching is very good. Explain each and everything nicely. Yes from my point of view curriculum is updated and includes all the recent development in the field. But according to my field it does not made me job ready.
The quality of placements is average in our college. Around 500-1000students are placed with highest salary package that goes up to 3 lakh per annum. yes the college is supportive. Average salary was offered 2 lakh per annum to the student and the placement process was average and pleasant for some students.
My course cost rs 30000 per year. Not enough but a little bit and getting my money worth because it's not my first preference to study English now I am realising.
College campus is very good and it has very greenery, very vast many activities the students of the college can engage in like dancing ,dramatic music- singing etc a lot more we can explore in our college it is say and the location is very much in posh area.
No not anything else about this college but I would like to see choose the preference and college according to your will. For girls it is a safer college.
The infrastructure of the college is decent. There is a large lawn, canteen and the heritage building is beautiful. But there aren't much sport facilities available and the condition of sports room is also not good. It is equipped with a library which Also has an AC. The wifi is not good.
The college is nice when it comes to academics. I am studying English hons which includes Indian ,British, Medieval literature and what not.i have always been interested in reading and therefore chose this course. The quality of teaching is quite good. The teachers are serious when it comes to teaching and assignments. The curriculum is updated acc to the nep 2020.
The placements are fine. Median packages are around 4 to 5 lakhs. I think the highest one was around 22 lakhs in 2023. Although it is true that students from the commerce field tend to get more placements than from the humanities department.
It is a known fact that du colleges are inexpensive. Although girls college tend to be a bit more expensive than co ed ones. Still the fees is around 30k which isn't bad at all. So yes we can say that it's a value for money college.
The worst feature is probably the sports room. The best is the ac library which has a good infrastructure and more than 2 floors divided acc to departments. Various competitions are held time to time. The staff is supportive, batch mates are also okay. Location is one of the best things. Metro station is 1-2 min away. Safe and clean.
Most aesthetically pleasing and well maintained , its the most beautiful college of north campus .Spacious library , equipped modern facilities , wifi enabled campus , labs are regularly upgraded………..
This college is Known for its strong academic environment. Highly qualified and research oriented , and approachable professors , Workshops , internships , are encouraged…………………………………………………………………………..
Decent placements . Active and student friendly regularly hosts seminars , resume building sessions . Average package for 3-5 LPA varies significantly depending on the course and profile.” ………………………..
As a delhi university college , the fee is extremely low , compared to private institutions……making it accessible to wide population . With strong academics , a DU degree and a reasonable placements it offers great value.
Very active with societies for music , dance , drama , fine arts , quiz , debating and more ………………….Shruti is highly anticipated. Competitive yet supportive , diverse crowd from across the country…..
Very secure for women , with strict rules. Inclusive space , being gender sensitive ,progressive and supportive, good sports infrastructure. centrally located in civil lines with good connectivity via metro and buses.
Infrastructure wise this college is the best in whole DU. Situated in North campus, the college has that regal look to it with British infra as well. It has all the basic requirements a college require including wifi, libraries, classrooms and hygiene is also maintained well.
Academics wise the college is also good. Compared to other DU colleges, IPCW is Focused more on the circular rather than other exposure. Teachers are well versed in their jobs and do help us good enough for our course.
Placement is below average of this college. Only thr students from commerce department are given the opportunity to sit in such placements and students from the humanities section aren't aware of them. Placements wise this college doesn't perform well.
Considering it's the most expensive college of Delhi University, value for money is average to good. There are still factors where there can be development and changes which will surely add to rhe good rating of this college.
Campus life is pretty peaceful and calm which often gets boring for someone who require exposure. This college DON'T offer any kind of exposure and is pretty study oriented. It is safe inside the college but outside it sometimes get messey. being in an all girls college is a task in it's self when it comes to safety and exposure.
This college is good for someone who aspires safety and peaceful environment but is not good for a great exposure which a college should offer.
Indraprastha Coll has beautiful campus with mix of old and modern building. classroom are well furnished and air conditioned.library is peaceful with great collection of book sports facilities like the swimming pool gym and courts
B.A. History and English offers mixture of historical insights and literary exploration professors make learning engaging through discussion research and interactive projects library and digital resources help students dive deeper into their subject.
Direct placement for History and English students are limited many explore careers in writing media education and civil services college encourages internships which help students gain real world experience
Outstanding infrastructure with 4 large green lawns, ....building has unique colours, rest du colleges have red colour... but it has aesthetic white building, one thing..washrooms aren't kept clean...
Outstanding academics is provided when it comes to ip college for women, Delhi university...... Skilled professors teach..they have indepth knowledge ...... Almost all professors are phD holders.... Academic pressure is balanced
Provides outstanding placements, both on and off...provides good packages...provides very effective return on investment.... Fees ranges from 15,000 to 30,000 but placement packages are phenomenally good

3. societies of your choice
