I would rate my college 4 out of 5 stars for its infrastructure. The campus is well-maintained, spacious, and provides a comfortable environment for learning. Classrooms are clean, properly ventilated, and equipped with basic facilities like projectors and comfortable seating. The library is well-stocked with academic resources and offers a peaceful space for studying. The college also has good laboratory facilities and computer labs that support practical learning effectively. Common areas, washrooms, and corridors are generally clean and maintained regularly. The campus greenery and open spaces add to the positive atmosphere. However, there is still some scope for improvement in terms of upgrading certain facilities and adding more modern infrastructure to enhance the overall experience. Overall, the infrastructure supports both academic and extracurricular activities efficiently, making it a great place to study.
I would rate my college 3 out of 5 stars on the basis of academics. The academic environment is decent, but there is definitely room for improvement. Some faculty members are highly knowledgeable, supportive, and genuinely interested in helping students understand the concepts clearly. They make learning engaging and are always ready to clear doubts. However, not all faculty members maintain the same level of involvement. In some cases, lectures feel more formal than interactive, and students often have to rely on self-study to prepare effectively for exams. While self-learning is important, more guidance and structured teaching would make the academic experience stronger. Overall, the college has potential in academics, but improving consistency in teaching quality and engagement would greatly enhance students’ learning experience.
I would rate the placement opportunities 2 out of 5 stars. While the college has a placement cell, it does not seem very active or consistent in providing strong opportunities to students. Compared to other colleges under Delhi University, the placement drive and corporate exposure could be significantly improved. There are limited companies visiting the campus, and the variety of roles offered is not very diverse. Many students often have to search for internships and job opportunities on their own rather than relying on campus placements. More industry collaborations, workshops, and skill-development sessions would greatly benefit students. However, the college does have potential to strengthen its placement support system. With a more proactive placement cell and better networking with companies, the opportunities for students could improve substantially. Overall, there is definite scope for growth in this area, and enhancing placement efforts would make the overall college experience much stronger.
iThe infrastructure of the college is decent. Technical equipment like labs and computers are not maintained and most equipments are outdated. The infrastructure and equipment of the MMMC department is significantly good. The sports ground is amazing and well maintained. So is the library. Nescafe is a decent place for hangouts and quick grabs.
The curriculum is significantly outdated. There isn't a great sense of discipline when it comes to classes or timetables. Classes get canceled often with either no prior information or information being communicated very late which is a huge waste of time for people travelling for long hours.
No substantive internship or placement opportunities on-campus. Often internships offer very low stipends and experience. The placement cell has been actively growing since the last couple of years though.
Students pay about 25-30k annually. Tuition fee varies by department. MMMC department charges a higher tuition. In my opinion, the university operates on a very low capital generated by tuition fees, and the colleges are functioning accordingly. A slight spike in the tuition fee wouldn't make a significant difference for the families paying but could definitely aid in providing better facilities. Even people wouldn't mind paying a little more money if it means it is being utilised appropriately and for their benefit.
lively campus, good vibes.
Our college is very good as per the infrastructure as it is considered on of the beautiful college on university of delhi. We might have got the old classroom vibe but its not been the major issue in our case. Wifi facilities is a major issue definitely and the college is not that much engaged in extracurricular activities. The canteen food is cheap but its not that much hygienic and clean, one day i got the food which was smelling so bad. Overall its not that good college.
So I’m pursuing BAP (commerce + psychology), some professors are really good they make personal bond and connections with the students which initiates us to attend their class, but some are so strict which might demotivate us sometimes and its not negative motivation at all.
I haven’t seen anyone being placed by this college its just a tag that you get by graduating from this college and doesn’t matter more i guess. So i wont suggest anyone to fill in this college. Placement cell is there but its working is invisible.
I had to give around 40k for BAP course and I don’t think it’s worth it cuz overall its a government college and these are meant for the welfare of the people not for the profit maximisations. And even if they are taking this much they should definitely invest in the infrastructure of the college with the lightning being so dull gives very negative and disturbed vibe.
Our college is not in north campus its just the tag it have got, its really feels very separated from the other colleges. It has communities like dancing, singing, but again it’s nit that much centred as it meeds to be. Teachers are good, there are 3-4 teachers who are angry every time and just scold and scold. Its location is very much separated from the north campus and it doesnt feels like to be in college, it is not safe as one of the student got kidnapped out of the college only and college haven’t took any stand for that,
I would never suggest someone to be in this college, its so boring not connected with the colleges of the other students, it doesn’t feel like you are in college. Its better to pursue any course from the private colleges.
Very beautiful and vintage campus. It feels like entering in a viceroy office. I have been facing network issue in the college and the college doesn’t provide wifi facility. The campus is green and clean.
The professors are really nice and supportive. Commerce and Economics professors also discuss current affairs for better understanding. Done of the teachers are highly experienced and highly educated.
I feel the placements and internship opportunities are quite decent. The alumni network of our college are placed decently. Placement differs from course to course. But for economics and commerce department, they are decent.
Fees is very very affordable. And the facilities provided is definitely worth it. The course costed me approx 30,000 per year which is worth every penny. The fee may differ from batch to batch but doesn’t have any major difference.
Indraprastha college for women has a beautiful and aesthetic campus ,The green plants and colourful flowers all over gives positive vibe and Moving inside most rooms are spacious with air conditioned libarary , sports area is also very active .But there is lack of internet connection over there and the cantine is good hygiene vise plus it offers student friendly prices.
The faculty of the college is good and teach updated syllabus some of them also guides children , study is one step to become job ready a lot needs to be done to become perfectly ready for job including lerning new skills etc .
The college placement cell provides a good placement to final year students and also supports internship and workshops ,the highest salary package ranges from 21 to 24 lakhs per annum and the medium is 4 to 7 lpa and the placement rate is about 60% approx .
Indraprastha College for Women has a beautiful green campus with old heritage buildings. Classrooms are decent and the library and sports facilities are also well maintained. The campus also has open spaces and garden.
Academics are good, especially for Arts courses. Teachers are supportive and quality of teaching is also good. But, societies are mostly inactive and feel alost completely dead. I think more exposure should be given to the students.
Since most students are pursuing BA, placements are limited. The highest goes upto around INR 21 Lakhs, while the average package is around INR 5-6 Lakhs. Most students focus on internships, higher studies, or competitive exams rather than campus placement.
The fees is around 21 thousand.
Campus Life is enjoyable. The environment inside the campus is calm and peaceful.
Not really
The college looks appealing from outside but interiors require improvement. Amul and Nestle are available in the college. Dustbins are placed in almost every part of college for clean environment. Good hygiene.
The faculty is well qualified and topics are covered in class. For doubt purpose separate tutorials time is provided to practice questions and ask doubts from teachers. The college is well regarded for academic background.
Placements are available in the college but mostly bcom hons students get selected because of their academic background, other students from different courses can also sit for the placements for better exposure
The infrastructure of the college is great It has separate classrooms with projector for different courses It has a big auditorium and a cafeteria The campus is also very big It has well equipped library
The professors are highly skilled and knowledgeable They are very informative and take studies seriously They follow a strict schedule as given by the university They encourage healthy discussions in class
The placement opportunities are very great Many multi national corporations come and take interviews in the final year and offer great packages with great job security And college also helps promote it
Yes
the college building is too old and the benches are also broken and the fans in the college are very slow and the wifi is the worstt the network availability is worst, college looks good like great greenery there are animals present in campus
The process of academic is strict like they don't clear the topics and theory they only give attention to the front students, like they teach only from books they don;t use any kind of boards and projectors.
Recuriters and companies come but internships are paid like we have to pay for joining the internship so student aren't able to join for the internshi[ but the posiitve point is regular webinar and worshops held which practically teach us.
My fees is around 35,000, it's a Delhi University college but the fees is 2x more than comparative to other du colleges according to the fees i'm paying its not the value for money du must upgrade the various infra in the college.
Campus life is better but the location of the campus is not in the north and south but the campus is beautiful,it's in a safe college, sometimes college day feels to be boring because of not presence of many clubs and socities and because not avaible of funds for that sometiimes the event that held also get postponed or cancelled
The infrastructure of indraprastha college for women which is a part of delhi university .. It is different and very beautiful campus infrastructure with a various parks but the paint of college is shedding with really bad facilities like no air conditioner and the fans work really low so it's a mixed review for me
The academics of ipcw college is great I mean the professors are serious about studies and assignments but they use less digital techniques like they even didn't provide us notes and in some cases professors provide us.. Also teachers focus on book based knowledge I guess.. Not technique related and their voices doesn't even come at the back of the class.
Placements are okay many companies come in college and regularly many events and workshops are held by placement committee of our college.. So for placement it's a nice one I mean just work better on cv and then maybe you get but at the end teacher didn't provide you recommendation.
The average salary is ig minimum I mean many companies do come but they didn't offer well.. Also the internships provide in our college is paid so if you have money then you can do internship otherwise college doesn't offer free internship to promote every student.
Overall the campus life is okay not so great.. Sometimes it's boring because the societies in our college isn't so productive teachers focus on academics and not all societies are productive so the students don't get exposure in comparison to other du colleges.
I would the the college is okay. But I never recommend ipcw to anyone because the thing is that uts doesn't have many societies and opportunity like others and always cancel every events for students also the fees kd this college is higher then the other collges still doesn't give us better opportunities.. It's feels like a school classes and timetable are very bad... Teachers don't cooperate with students... They didn't even share knowledge and important info about us if we aks them they .....
Dear applicant it's great that you have so many options, however among all of them I would suggest you to choose Indraprastha College for Women, this college has great academic record, all the necessary facilities to make you feel comfortable and you will be under the guidance of very helpful
