Application Process

5. Counselling Process: If you get qualified on the cutoff scores, participate in the counseling process, generally it includes document verification, allotment of seat on the basis of your rank and preferences. 

6. Admission Confirmation: Seat allotment at Government Polytechnic, Chhabilhakhor, confirm admission by submitting necessary documents and paying a fee.

Degree wise Admission Process

Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering: This is a full-time three-year program with an approved capacity to admit 60 students. Admission for this course comes from the performance of the candidate in the JEECUP examination. It consists of a two-year lateral entry option too wherein 6 seats are given.

Diploma in Mechanical Production Engineering: This is again a full-time three-year course with an accredited capacity of 60 students. Like the Electrical and Electronics Engineering diploma, this course also admits students based on the JEECUP exam. A two-year lateral entry option is available with 6 seats.

Diploma in Textile Designing and Printing: This is a unique three-year diploma program, only 60 students can be taken in. Admissions are obtained based on the JEECUP score cards. 

The admission procedure is the same for all the above courses. All students get admitted through the Joint Entrance Examination at state level conducted by JEECUP, Lucknow. This is also an assurance that regardless of the department, each student has undergone the same rigorous process.
