As of now, BITS Pilani Hyderabad does not offer off-campus placements. They are not involved in these types of placements. Every year, BITS Pilani campuses hold two placement seasons. As part of the Practice School programme, their students work in the industry for one semester of their final year. Two months before placements, each campus' website provides details about the students available for placement that season.

The BITS Pilani Placement System is process-driven. In coordination with recruiters throughout the year, the Placement Unit (PU) contacts companies about two months before placements. Companies provide the PU with job announcement forms (JAF) which include job descriptions, locations, compensation, etc. The requirements are scrutinised based on student preferences, and the applicants' list is provided. Once interviews are conducted and the company has made a final selection, the candidates are informed of the selection. Following the student's confirmation, PU will forward a signed copy to the company of the offer letter or letter of intent provided by them.
