REMARKS -Overall if you are comparing this University campus with the university campus of SRM university Chennai then this was far far away from that one. But otherwise this University campus was also very good in all the sides ENTRANCE PREVIEW -The SRM university organized a common entrance exam in every year in the month of March for entrance. But if you have the enough money then directly go there and get your admission easily by management quota. ENTRANCE PREVIEW -SRM entrance exam and I scored not too good in the exam but get selected because of my 10th, 12th results and the interview process goes smooth. PLACEMENT -SRM offers 100% placements with mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro offering 3.20 lpa and other core companies offer huge package. Companies are mu sigma, Aricent, cybage, capgemini, SAP, Caterpillar and many more. They all offers a very good package since they all are core companies. Coming to the Sports facilities you will find nothing but a Basket Ball Court(which the SRMites call the BBC ground) which is no larger than a local school’s playground. Coming to the Lab infrastructure, they do have system with decent specs and a more than decent wifi but the access to the wifi will be blocked :p The only thing you will be allowed to access is Scilab in your 1st semester and Turbo C++ in second.Hell, I even got scolded for using Dev C++ instead of Turbo C while writing a c code. There is no open wifi networks for the students to use anywhere in the Campus, not even in the Library.Even in the Hostels the wifi is restricted from 4pm to 10pm after coming back from college).

I am currently studying in SRM University NCR Campus and the college is good for engineering courses.Where ever you join in SRM university the curriculam is same.the only difference comes with the faculty, usually main campus has better infrastructure and faculty.during placement season everyone has to come to main campus so in that regard all are same.if you work hard you can make into a good company. If u r joining for C.S branch then only join bro ….. otherwise never ever join srm ghaziabad ….. go for chennai branch It have lots of problems , some of those problems i am gonna write Bad infrastructure Bad hostel facility Unhygenic hostel food Over crowded hostel Frustated teachers Backlogs Detention Vulnerable campus placement No hangout point Poor airconditioning

Our college SRM Research Institute, a unit of SRM University, is an initiative aimed at supporting applied research and engineering activities. According to our college, financial assistance is available in the form of 50 percent fee residual to students who score over 90% in CBSE and above 95% in state board examinations.i am a 90% above student,so i have discount.the problem was that hostel,it is not so much nice.and living far from home.good friends are there in this college.i prefer others to joint in this college.the hostel should be improved.

SRM university is a university with a difference. It is one of the top reputed universities in the country. The university has won several awards and reorganizations. The infrastructure of the University is great, spread over 4 campuses in India. University has a great positive attitude towards learners, and is always ready to help them. The faculty in the University are young and dynamic with a vast sea of knowledge. University also gives an opportunity to its students to study abroad for one semester under their Semester Abroad Program(SAP). The training and placement cell in the University is a very active department. The university leads in academics as well in placements in the private university category in India.

This is one of the best colleges in India. This college has got everything anyone can expect from a college. The cultural fest and the tech fest are the best events of the year. There are a lot more events to mesmerise you through the year. The professors are just excellent and they have great experience in their fields. The campus placement is very good with few offers coming from abroad also. The average salary offered during campusing is high. The best part is that you will have a college life which you will never forget. SRM University is a well known educational institution, and NCR is one of the 3 branches outside its home city I am a student in SRM University NCR Campus, studying computer science and engineering. Like every other college, it has its own pros and cons. The faculties r quite sincere about their jobs. The discipline is maintained at every step. The placement might not occur as a big issue here since we r prepared since starting. In academics criteria, an average student will easily be able to pick up things if he maintains proper interaction with faculties. It's an anti-ragging campus and more over the seniors r friendly enough. Being in 3rd year I can say I didn't have a hard time studying here at any point, the hostels are very good and you all remember the hostel days for ur entire life. On the other hand, infrastructure is not very appealing. The auditorium is small the field size and the labs r just fine. But that doesn't cause much of an issue.

One of the best colleges in India

You will simply love this college. This college has got more than everything someone can expect from a college. The college infrastructure is just excellent. The library of this college is just amazing- you will not believe it unless you see it for yourself. There are a lot of helpful teachers and most of them hold a Phd degree. These professors have a great experience in their respective fields and can really connect academics to the practical job scenario. In one word they are just excellent. The placement is good with a very high average package. The cultural fest and tech fest of this college are the grand events of the year. Other than these fests there are a lot of other events throughout the year. The hostel life is the best part. You will have a great time with all the recreational things the college hostel has to offer. The playground is the most popular spot among the students. If you want to be in one of the best colleges in the country then just join this college.

Coming to SRM University I learned many things. Here I found myself a bit secure than at other places. As here at SRM there is no ragging at alll, which means we can live our life normally as we were at home.It is difficult to describe ones college life in just 250 characters, yet i'll try my best. The infrastructure of the college is just as i wished to had in my college. It has all the facilities available for the students such as a big campus area, sports grounds, internet facility, food courts, and many more. We have different types of labs to perform research and experiments.

First of all it is a ragging free campus. Its not been a long time since the inauguration of this college. Its only been 4 years since this college has started so we dont know about its placements much. Most of the faculty is south indian. We do have a little bit language problem but its fine. The building is still under construction. Labs are in a good condition and the overall crowd is also good.

Nice college with less exposure to the industry but very good hostel accommodation and food. May not be affordable to a few. The most negative thing is that the students have to go to the Chennai campus of SRM all the way from Ghaziabad campus and no company visits the NCR campus of SRM.

SRM NCR campus is quite a good place to learn new things and quite an enjoyable place to earn and gain knowledge. Being a small campus it has many facilities and one can enjoy each and every bit of their 4 years of college life. The place is good you will get the faculties dedicated to teaching. Discipline for classes and administration is way good. There are often issues that at premier institutions like IITs and NITs one has to put the efforts on his/her own as professors are damn busy with their journals and research work. Being at this college u need not worry about your academics and if you are passionate then you can definitely take guidance from APs and work for your desires

The college focuses on proper learning of every subject

Posted on 19 Sep' 16 by Rishabh
Batch of 2019 | B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering
The overall experience of the college is very good compared to rest of the colleges. The location of the college is not appropriate as it is in the middle of the highway and transportation and travelling from that zone is difficult. The college focuses on learning every subject in detail and proper representation of knowledge. The faculties are knowledgeable and are willing to help at any point of time. The attendance system is not appropriate as no medical certificate is considered and direct detection is provided when a person lacks below 75% in a single subject. Exams are conducted at the end of every month and are part of internals. Fests and cultural events are not common but still they are conducted thrice a year. Overall the college is very good including the infrastructure and academic part.

Batch of 2015 | B.Tech Electrical and Electronics Engineering
The college is located on Delhi-Meerut highway and has some locations issues in form of a secluded place where the college was located. The college has had a lasting impression on me. From stepping into a world of engineering to organising various events, SRM University NCR Campus has helped me understand all elements required of a graduate student. The college does play an important role in building your overall skillset but where it lacks is in providing the main thing - TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE. The faculty is average and the labs coupled with infrastructure are just above average. It does give some placement opportunities but that is IT specific. As compared to its elder brother (Chennai Campus), it still has a long way to go. The TPO should be active enough to bring in more companies. The hostel is another saving grace for the college as it is better than the most hostel I have ever seen with large rooms and balconies. Go to SRM if you don't have any other option and you don't want to drop a year. Best of luck

The college provided me with an absolute platform to nurture my skills under the supervision of well-qualified faculties. A very helpful staff of professors are always on their toes to guide us through thick and thin. Well maintained labs with up to date software(Apple Systems) serving as the major highlight. With many pros, the college also has its cons too. A larger campus area would have been more pleasing to the eye. Also, the college meekly supports extracurricular activities and proves to be a big low during the fest time. Teaching, academics, and placements wise the college provides a very bright option for the students.

SRM has proved its name by providing placement to 6064 students in a single day. College life is okay you cant bunk easily as there is nothing to hangout nearby. Competitive environment :)

SRM NCR Campus is a decent one . I am satisfied with the type of batchmate. Since it is a south Indian College hence there is a very decent strength of south Indian teachers. The infrastructure could be compared or might even be better than most of the UP colleges but not justifiable when it comes to fees they charge or when you compare it with any other private university. The students are academically decent but thankfully and luckily none of them act as if they are from some backward region of our country (which could be a plus point if you compare it from the perspective of UP colleges. The focus is more towards getting better placement instead of inspiring students to create something or experiment in their 20’s (talking from the entrepreneurial point of view). Teaching faculty is average. Hard to say if they are an expert in their subject. No proper E-cell to promote entrepreneurship. There is only a canteen and a snack corner inside the college while few more at a walking distance from the college. Also as per the tales, the placements for students are primarily done from the main SRM Chennai campus. Hence they don’t take much interest in calling campus for recruitments itself in this branch.

I joined my college in 2014 to study Automobile Engineering. The location of the campus is a bit far from Delhi so it makes it difficult to commute. The infrastructure is decent and there are good lab facilities available. The faculty is average and sometimes unprofessional. The campus life is not really amusing, there are lots of restrictions which in my opinion are useless. The crowd is diverse. The affordability of this college is very low, it can be money minded at times. Overall the college is average and sometimes the cons outweigh the pros.

SRM University: A star among private engineering colleges.

Posted on 27 Aug' 16 by Bharat
Batch of 2013 | B.Tech Information Technology
SRM University is undoubtedly one of the best private universities in India. With its central campus in Chennai, it is gradually expanding throughout the country with one camp us already functioning in Modinagar, Ghaziabad, UP. The university campus in Modinagar is a beautiful, modern and full of all facilities. There is a fairly good connectivity to the college through public roadways buses. The university also runs its own buses for day boarders. The university has hostels for students from other states, which have all amenities. The mess is quite spacious and hygiene standards are specially taken care of. The college faculty is a mix of good and bad, however, it depends on what course one is pursuing. The faculty is no doubt hardworking and reciprocates with the extent to which a student shows interest. Academics are strict and there is a systematic and well-planned approach to studies. Most of the courses are in a semester format, having internals and university level exams. The extra-curricular life of the college is quite colorful and rich too. There are many fests that are organised throughout the year ranging from cultural fest, robotics fest, sports test.. the list is long. Placements are fairly good as compared to other private colleges. The brand and name that SRM University has made through its Chennai based campus is undoubtedly beneficial to the NCR-campus students. The kind of company one may get placed in largely depends on a student's own academic record, however on the part of the university there are many companies, reputed ones for that matter, that come to this campus. The fees of the college is quite exorbitant, however of the same level as that of other private engineering colleges. Given that, the name and the value of the SRM tag quite justifies it. It is atleast not like other private universities that are mushrooming and are nothing but shopping malls of degrees. This university takes students through an entrance test as well as through AIEEE. I recommend this for any engineering aspirant who seeks to graduate from a private engineering college.

The college is situated far away from the Delhi suburbs on the Meerut highway. College hostel is good with attached bathroom facility but the food in the mess is average. The campus is situated on 23 acres of land with a fantabulous football ground and a decent basketball court. The faculty is young and energetic with good teaching experience in various public and private institutions. College infrastructure is overall good and the labs are well equipped with latest machinery and gadgets. Transport facility is available to almost all nearby areas.
