Currently I have been alloted NIT Silchar Electrical Engg in 1st round but I want NIT Kkde till 5th round. Is it possible(rank 17k).

Hi Abhishek,
Yes, every year closing ranks will changed. We can't predict it. So everyone should wait for the 7th round to get the best college seat. So you also wait for the josaa seventh round then you get it. Don't freeze your seat before 6th round when you didn't get your desired seat. So wait for the last round.

According to your query,

First of all congratulations to get NIT in first round . It's good. Now if you want different NIT in the same branch then till 5th or 6th round chances may rise. Actually first three allotement rounds are somehow final decision but every time many seats get vacant so chances may rise to get this college in further rounds.
