First of all Congratulating you on your nice performance that you scored such a nice percentile and I would like to tell you that based on your rank in general category and considering the fact that you belong to general category I think it would not be easier for you to get CSE in thapar institute which is better than some IITs and nits according to nirf ranking 2020,but you must keep your choices in the order of your desirable preferences, you may get because due to covid time student of west Bengal appeared  lesser in number for jee mains conducted this month. I hope you get college of your choice.

According to the percentile you have mentioned in the question your approximate rank would be near about 43,000-45,000 and on the basis of this rank ot is little bit difficult to get CSE branch in Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology, Patiala. But yes you can get ECE, CE like branches as per previous years cut-offs.

Till now the cut-offs for this year had not been declared so I am guiding you according to the previous years cut-offs and note that cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors.
