The cutoff marks changes from year to year, though you belong to reservation category you can’t expect or guarantee a seat in NIT, because it changes from year to year! It may be any branch but you can’t expect compulsorily as seat in any of the NIT, as the cutoffs for each branch will be changed for every year! 

But when compared to the last year cutoff marks you may get seat in NIT!

it changes from year to year and also it depends on number of candidates applying and minimum score.

there are many criteria on which minimum marking is set up.

But, realtive to previous year data you might get NIT.

            There is a chance that you might get nit Durgapur but do prepare for jee advanced as well and try to qualify it. If not then you can keep jee main counselling as an option. You can check your rank by:
