MGM College of Engineering and Technology, Ernakulam, is a highly reputed institution providing a broad spectrum of engineering courses. For undergraduate courses, the college offers admissions via the Kerala Engineering Architecture & Medical Examination (KEAM). For B.Tech programs:
1. Sit for the KEAM examination.
2. Pass KEAM with a score that fulfills the college's cut-off requirements.
3. Enroll in the centralized allotment process organized by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala.
4. Select MGM College and preferred B.Tech courses during the counseling procedure.
5. If given a seat, report to MGM College for document verification and admission procedures.
For M.Tech courses:
1. Appear and qualify in the GATE exam.
2. Apply directly to MGM College on the basis of the GATE score.
3. Go through any other selection procedures as mentioned by the college, which may involve an interview.
4. If selected, finalize the admission procedure by submitting documents and paying fees.
Degree wise Admission Process
B.Tech Courses
MGM College provides various B.Tech courses such as Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Cyber Security, Computer Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, and Civil Engineering. The entry to these courses is through KEAM scores. There are varying capacities for each course, varying from 30 to 60 seats. For example, B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, and Cyber Security have 60 seats each, whereas Mechanical Engineering and Electronics and Communication Engineering have 30 seats each.
M.Tech Programs
The college has M.Tech courses in Construction Management and Structural Engineering with 24 seats and Industrial Instrumentation and Control with 12 seats. Admissions are through valid GATE scores. The admission procedure may involve considering academic marks at the qualifying degree level and even an interview round.
Diploma Programs:
MGM College also provides different diploma courses in engineering disciplines like Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, and Electronics and Communication Engineering. The intake of these courses varies from 30 to 60 seats. Admission to diploma courses can be different from B.Tech and M.Tech, and students should contact the college for specific details.
I was studying computer science engineering the faculties were really nice the only problem I encountered was there frequent shifting of faculties even in between semesters,other than that everything about studying were very well
