APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University, Thiruvananthapuram, formerly known as Kerala Technological University, is a state public university in Kerala. Established in 2014, APJAKTU Thiruvananthapuram is both a teaching and affiliating university. KTU offers full-time and part-time undergraduate, postgraduate and PhD programmes in technology, engineering, architecture and management. KTU courses include B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA, MCA, B Arch, M Arch and BHMCT which are offered on its campus and affiliated colleges across Kerala.
KTU admission to undergraduate and postgraduate programmes is provided based on previous academic performance and state and national-level entrance examinations. For PhD admission, KTU conducts entrance exams for candidates who have not qualified for NET, GATE or other aptitude tests. KTU Thiruvananthapuram is accredited by both UGC (University Grants Commission) and AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education). KTU has 100-plus affiliated private, government, government-aided and self-financing management, technology and engineering institutions across the state of Kerala.

Infrastructure is above average .Classrooms have enough space and they have smartboards. Labs look good but it does not have every required equipment so sometimes assistants just escape by explaining the theory part.Campus is fairly big and hygienic .Hostel is good.
