But sir i saw a pdf of panjab university chandigarh about reservation seat there it is mentioned that the student will be entitled to the concessions/benefits admissible to the scheduled caste/ scheduled tribes from the state of his origin and not from the state where he has migrated..
So sir i am quite confused about this.

Asish Yes, you are right but he will not loose the status of being a student a student of SC/ST and he will be awarded benefits from the belonging state but not from the state he is migrated to.

Then sir i cant apply at panjab university under my sc category reservation because i will not get benefits from panjab university as i am not from punjab state..am i right sir ?
