Someone please write about student life and other facilities of iiser and also disadvantages

Will talk about IISER Mohali.

Great Hostels you have single rooms ( YES!) but currently, the new first years have to double. But this situation is temporary and you’ll probably only have to suffer for a semester or 2.

Good WiFi, kinks are there, still being ironed out.

Chandigarh, the Capital of Partying is a 10 min walk away. So you have great outside life.

All Hostels are separated into two wings - Boys and Girls.

No such checkings of rooms, but if somebody complains(rare!) - Wardens will come.

Mess Food is okay.

No such Hostel in time, you can roam around all night if you like.

Campus in time though is 10pm, which you can flout, if you have a Gate Pass.

You have Delivery services that deliver food upto 4AM, so yeah! no hungry nights :P

IISER M has 1 gym, equipped well enough + 2 Basketball Courts + 2 Lawn Tennis Courts + 3 Volleyball Courts + 2 Badminton Courts + A stadium with a big enough grass field for Football or cricket with Floodlights.

All IISERs also participated in the IISM - Inter IISER Sports Meet. Held every year it pits teams from all IISERs in different sports.
