NCU Gurgaon Admission Process 2021
NorthCap University (NCU) offers various undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes. Admissions to B.Tech courses will be done on the basis of JEE Main score and qualifying examination marks. For non-professional courses like B.Sc, admission is offered on the basis of candidates marks in the qualifying examination. Admission to BBA and B.Com courses will be done on the basis of candidates academic record (marks in 10th and 12th), his writing skills and his/her performance in interview. For BBA LLB, candidates have to appear in the national-level law entrance examination (CLAT, AILET, LSAT). For admission to M.Tech, candidates have to appear and qualify in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE). Admission to MBA will be done on the basis candidates score in any national management entrance examination which is CAT/XAT/CMAT/ATMA/MAT/GMAT. Admission processes for various courses offered by NorthCap University are discussed below:
For Undergraduate Courses (BE/B.Tech/BA (Hons)/BBA/B.Sc (Hons)/B.Com (Hons)):
- For B.Tech, candidates have to qualify the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE Main Paper - 1).
- 60% weightage will be given to JEE Main marks and 40% weightage to the marks scored in English, Maths, Physics and Chemistry in 10+2 or equivalent.
- Diploma holders should qualify the LEET exam for direct admission to the second year.
- For B.Sc (Hons), admission will be done on the merit basis of the marks obtained in class 12th.
- For BBA, B.Com (Hons), BA (Hons), admission will be done on the basis merit of all parameters given: 10th score (30%), 12th score (50%), followed by personal interview (10%) and essay writing (10%).
- Eligible candidates have to fill an application form for admission to the college.
For Integrated Course (BBA LLB):
- Candidates should qualify CLAT/AILET/LSAT exam for admission for BBA LLB course.
- 60% weightage will be given to CLAT/AILET/LSAT exam qualified candidates and the remaining weightage will be given to the marks scored in 10+2.
- Eligible candidates have to fill an application form for admission to the college.
For Postgraduate Courses (ME/M.Tech/MBA/M.Sc/LLM):
- For M.Tech, candidates should qualify Graduate Aptitude Tests in Engineering (GATE).
- 30% seats are filled for GATE qualified candidates and the remaining will be filled on the basis of merit in qualifying examination at the UG level followed by a personal interview.
- For M.Sc, admission will be based on the merit of score obtained in B.Sc or equivalent degree.
- For MBA, candidates should qualify anyone of the following exams: CAT/XAT/CMAT/ATMA/MAT/GMAT.
- Shortlisted candidates have to appear for an essay writing followed by a personal interview or group discussion.
- Final selection will be done on the basis of all parameters given: 10th score (5%), 12th score (5%), graduation marks (15%), entrance test score (45%), personal interview/group discussion (20%), essay writing (10%).
- For LLM, admission will be given to the candidates based on the performance in personal interview and marks scored in qualifying examination.
For Doctoral Courses (PhD):
- Candidates have to register for admission on the official website of the university.
- Further, candidates have to appear for an admission test followed by a personal interview.
- NET/GATE/JRF/SLET qualified candidates will be exempted from the admission test.

Bachelor of Technology Lateral Entry (3 Years) - Students will be selected as per the merit list prepared on the basis of marks in the State LEET exam and the marks obtained by the applicant in Diploma. Weightage of these scores are 80% and 20% respectively.
