Admissions to various courses in Central Institute of Technology, Kokrajhar Assam are based on entrance exam score. Central Institute of Technology, Kokrajhar is ‘Deemed to be University” and is administered under the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) and the Government of India.
Central Institute of Technology, Kokrajhar is presently offering courses in Diploma, B.Tech, B.Des., M.Des., M.Tech. and PhD programmes in many disciplines. The main departments include Computer Science and Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Food Engineering and Technology, Civil Engineering, Multimedia Communication and Design. Central Institute of Technology, Kokrajhar offers Diploma (3 years) in various courses such as Control and Instrumentation, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Food Processing Technology and Animation & Multimedia Technology.
A candidate should opt for a Diploma programme of Central Institute of Technology, Kokrajhar either by qualifying the CITEE conducted by CIT Kokrajhar or by qualifying the Polytechnic Admission Test (PAT).
The cut-off for the B.Des. course is released by the authorities of the college. A merit list is prepared based on the candidates’ performance in the entrance examination.

Established on 19th of December, 2006, the Central Institute of Technology (CIT), Kokrajhar is situated in the Kokrajhar district of Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) in Assam. Yes my college have the necessary facilities and all the required eqipments .It has lab which is accessible by the students and it also has wifi connection and regarding classes there are big class room which makes it suitable for studing. And hostels are quite good and are maintained quite nicely and there is also place for playing games
College infrastructure is much better than any other colleges in Assam. Labs and seminar halls are also well equipped. Though some things are still under construction, m sure in few years it will become preety good with infrastructure.
This college have a very good infrastructure with adequate amount of classes and labs. Laboratories are equipped with latest technologies. It have a two storey library, which offers books of various departments and languages
