The Difficulty Level of CIT 2020:
The institute conducts many entrance examinations like CITDEE, CITBDAT, CITEE, PAT, CITMEE, CITMDAT to grant admission into various programs like Diploma, B.Tech, M.Tech, B.Des., M.Des., and PhD. If the level of the Central Institute of Technology is high, then the expected cut-off is low whereas if the candidates appear for an entrance examination where the difficulty level is low, then a high cut-off score is expected.
Number of Applicants:
The total number of candidates who register themselves for the above Diploma, BTech, M.Tech, B.Des., M.Des. or PhD programs directly affects the cut-off score. If the total number of candidates who applied to undertake the above programs at Central Institute of Technology, Kokrajhar is high, the cut-off will also be simultaneously increased.
Total Number of Seats Available:
If the total number of seats available for a particular course is less, then the cut-off score of a similar course will also be high. Seat availability plays an important role in determining the cut-off score or rank of a particular program at the institute.
Cut-Off Scores of the Preceding Year:
The cut-off ranks of the previous year also help to establish the final cut-off of the current year. Candidates usually refer to the previous year cut-off trends before applying for the desired program in the specific educational institute.
