Batch of Jan. 1, 2015 | B.Tech Mechanical Engineering
CS, IT and electronics branches have somewhat good placement. Dont even think of taking other branch if you want to join this college. No industrial exposure. Mostly M.Tech persuing guys are teaching here. I wont blame this college, its the general scenario of most pvt engg colleges in India.

This is more of a rant than a review, but I do say some nice things about the college which are true to the end. The first thing that disappointed me about the college was the syllabus(this is kind of all colleges), I don't get the logic behind me studying thermodynamics when I want to be an IT guy. I don't get what's up with the education system, Why does it torture the students which are never going to make any help. So my solution to this is providing some optional subject. Secondly, for CSE which I love from my heart. The Introduction was lame, When you go to a college you go with a new hope. The CS depts. teachers are like "yeah students, today we will do programming" Is that a way you start your first class for CSE deptt. A teacher should have the vision to make the students great programmers, network people or whatever. Thirdly, I am in the 2nd semester this yes, Surprisingly there's no CSE subject! There's a workshop. But I really don't get why on earth is my college making me read things like "Types of Roads in India", Instead of that If they teach "How to talk and do networking" maybe I'll be able to hire a good civil engineer if I ever need details on that. They really need to help minds "GROW" instead of controlling and manipulating them. Fourth, College Canteen has no chicken momo.(My favorite) Enough of a rant Here's some nice things. * Some Teachers are really good (Still bound by the system though). * The Environment is nice * Overall Results are good * Good enough Infrastructure for the amount I have to pay.
