Girijananda Chowdhury University (GCU) in Guwahati has modern infrastructure. This includes Wi-Fi-enabled campuses, specific engineering and pharmaceutical labs, a central library, and an indoor stadium with a 1,200 sq. ft. gymnasium

in academic there was a very well experience faculties has good teaching style well behaving staffs they provide us very good opportunity to learn and curriculum was practical and industry oriented. Overall good.

The Training & Placement Cell actively connects students with companies through campus drives, interviews, group discussions and training programs. The aim is to have students placed before their final semester exam.

The tuition fees for mba courses are approximately ₹1.5 Lakh to ₹2 Lakh (total) which is relatively lower compared to many private colleges in India, not very famous for MBA but still good.

The main campus of the university is an urban campus spread over 20 acres of land in Azara, Guwahati, near the airport road and is surrounded by greenery with academic blocks and labs and has a beautiful campus overall.

Necessary infrastructure present, although a bit subpar. Spacious classrooms, equiped labs and adequate number of washrooms. Huge canteen facility. Labs have all necessary equipments. Wifi available for students.

Good quality of teaching. Although more career focused guidance is necessary. Classes were regular and attendance monitoring was done adequately. Curriculum was fine but could use removal of redundant materials.

Placement counsellor is approachable and dedicated. However improvements is needed. Placement process was easy. Supportive as well. Quality of placement was average. Highest salary package was 4-5LPA.

Cost was 62,000 per semester excluding bus and hostel fees. Placement could be better as per the fees.

Campus could be made greener and more fun. Teachers are supportive on average. Location is a bit out of the city but not remote.

I'm studying b tech in electrical engineering in Girijananda Chowdhury Institute of Management and Technology for learning electrical stuff in better way teachers aslo have good knowledge about electrical engineering they make us reading for future jobs

In my college college do not have that much good placement opportunity day only provide 40% placement to the students from where most of the jobs are not related to the main stream most of the jobs are related to sales but few companies also come with core subject related job

The course cost for a year is about 1.2 lakh my course has 4 years duration which cost around 600000 and it is worth to study here

My campuses near to the airport which is far away from the main city which makes difficult for student to come but those who are in PGS for hostel it is very easy for them to regularly attend and it is safe place

Overall it is a good University to study and one of the best university which provides electrical engineering

Good infrastructure and located in the outskirt of the Guwahati city. Overall environment is cozy and student friendly. College has all the basic as well as latest amenities making it one of the best private colleges in the state.

Course curriculum is updated. However, event on the recent developments are rarely held. Overall the college does pay attention to co-curricular activities and annual cultural events are hosted at grand level.

I have graduated from the college in the year 2018. During that time placement scenario of the college did not strengthen yet. However, over the years the number of students placed and the companies visited for recruitment have substantially improved.

Considering the value recieved in terms of education, overall development and placements, GIMT is competent enough. However, in order to compete with NIT and few government colleges, college need to pay attention to certain areas where it need to improve.

Campus is surrounded by greenish lush, and place in an environment where it avoids most of the city noises. Students don't face any significant problems in terms of the daily commutation. Affordable PGs and Hostels are located nearby.

Overall it is a good college with a potential to become one of the best colleges in the north eastern region. Quality education, co-curricular activities, events and development programmes are the USPs of the college.

Our college has all necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipments. Classrooms are equip6 with projectors, smart boards, and provide high speed free internet service . Laboratories are equipped with high tech equipments and canteen provide hygienic food.

I was a student of mechanical engineering department, Gimt Guwahati. The quality of teaching is excellent .. all teachers and professors are very innovative and kind hearted and respond every query of the Student.

Our college has a very Active , Committed and supportive placement cell. Every member of the cell very passionate , responsible and committed towards their job and responsibilities. The quality of placements are satisfactory

Yes our college has good environment with WiFi campus and neat and clean campus with a very good infrastructure. Many labs are there along with NBA affiliated branches also. We have canteen, playground, badminton court, separate region for girls hostel and folding. We have technical tests along with sports tournament s participated by many colleges. We are having good faculty looking after us in a good way, we are having smart class and internal auditorium.

Teaching quality is very good as we are providing with assignment tests and online classes.we taught for gate exams also along with field trip and industry visit to enhance knowledge.teachers are very friendly with students and I am studying mechanical engineering degree here because it's very good for us as this department is NBA affiliated. It's gives job opportunity but in less amounts.

Our college being a private one couldn't bring lots of placement but it helping students to get private or govt job through its teaching average package of 3lpa and maximum of 5lpa is there in our college.

62000 per sem ie, 124000 rupees but there is various schoolarship and waiver upto 60% for clearing entrance exams but at the condition of teaching money is getting worth.

We have good campus with infrastructure but it's small compared to govt college and a good faculty and staff who helps us in every way. Though hostel is not so satisfactory but not bad also. Our students are engaged in many cultural and competition activity.

It's the best and the first engineering college in North East India.i am very happy and blessed to study here.
