• Candidates have to first meet the eligibility criteria.

• Next, they have to fill the college application form.

• After that candidates will be selected on the basis of a rank list drawn from the marks (index marks) obtained by the candidates in the qualifying examination.

• The index marks is calculated as follows: B.C.A. - percentage of aggregate marks of degree (75% weightage) + marks obtained in Mathematics at 10+2/highest marks in Mathematics /Computer Science/Statistics/ Operations Research in B.C.A., if not studied Mathematics at 10 +2 level (25% weightage); Graduate in Computer Science Engineering - percentage of aggregate marks of degree (75% weightage) + marks obtained in Mathematics at 10+2 (25% weightage) or aggregate marks obtained at degree level if not undergone 10+2 (100% weightage); B.Sc./B.Com/B.A. - percentage of aggregate marks of degree (75% weightage) + marks obtained in Mathematics at 10+2/highest marks in Mathematics /Computer Science/Statistics/ Operations Research in B.Sc./B.Com/B.A., if not studied Mathematics at 10 +2 level (25% weightage)

M.Tech is a two-year full-time postgraduate programme. The course structure is divided into four semesters and the duration of each semester is six months.

• Appear for GATE, conducted by Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur and get a valid score.
