Hello Kshitiz,
Let us consider a few factors on the basis of which you can take decision:
1. ROI: Program fees for both IBS and BIMTECH are around 10-12 lakhs. And placements are also same. So as a matter of fact the ROI factor should not really concern you.
2. Interest: In BIMTECH you are getting IBM that is Insurance Business Management. If you are really intersted in this field then go for it. Don't think of other factors. But if you are still not sure about your interest then I'll suggest go for IBS because then you'll have one year to think about your interest. You choose majors and minors in second year of MBA.
3. Placements: Although placement stats are almost the same for both the institutes, but IBS is catering almost three times the students of BIMTECH and still maintaining it's record. Also due to more diversity in students you'll get a great exposure in IBS as compared to BIMTECH.
Hi Anushree,

NMIMS Indore:
NMIMS Indore has very recently been established compared to which the Mumbai campus has been around for 35+ years.
Up until now the first batch hasn't even graduated from the Indore Campus so there's no data to make the comparison.
Even without the data it can be very easily inferred that atleast as of now the Indore campus is nowhere near as good as the one in Mumbai
Great Lakes
Apart from the world class curriculum and faculty that is common to the PGPM at both campuses, the following are some of the highlights of the PGPM at Gurgaon campus
Location in the corporate hub of Delhi NCR with extensive industry engagement.
Focus on diverse industries especially on emerging areas like E-Commerce/Internet Businesses, Analytics, etc.
Fully mentored compulsory live projects with corporates in NCR. Helps students explore opportunities in new industries.

Excellent placement track record (with avg. salary of over 10 lakhs)
The college depends on your requirement and what you aspire, hence would suggest you to take a call on the college very wisely.
Wish You all the best
Hi Naveen, the cutoff varies every year based on various factors like number of test takers number of seats available difficulty level of exams etc. However going with the past records, there is high chances to get call from ibs hyderabad, as mostly their cutoff is around 60% for cat exams and for nmat it is 150 narks and mat and cmat and all cutoff is around 70-80 percentile and hence there are very good chances for ibs hyderabad.
Hi Anshul,
yes you have a chance in getting IBS Hyderabad. But before that you need to pay registration fees of 80000 and along with that you need to write a letter to the admission office that you want to change the your current campus allotted to IBS Hyderabad. But I believe till now if you haven't paid the registration fees then it will be difficult to get into Hyderabad campus this year.
second best you can Apply for it could either be Gurgaon campus or Mumbai Campus.
wish you good luck

If you have any questions. Do message here, I'm Currently the Student Of IBS Hyderabad MBA 2020 Batch.
All the best.
The IBSAT cut off for IBS Hyderabad starts from 93 percentile, which is for the first list of admissions. Post that as students keep withdrawing the cut off keeps on going down. However, the extent to which cut off decreases due to withdrawals has no compulsion. Going by past trends students scoring around 82 percentile have also secured admission in IBS Hyderabad. Now considered the fact that you have scored 86.89 percentile you still have a fair chance of getting a call for admissions only if other candidates who have got admission calls either reject it or withdraw from it.
